Rank Reset?

So I had this friend who was first about the same level as me, then suddenly he rose beyond 200 and I just knew he was either using glitches, or had used the DNS stuff.

Yesterday I logged on, and he is back at level 1 with every stat reset, while he's in the same crew with the same rank as before (and same "Crew level" so he didn't made a new character as that would reset his crew rank as well.

 

So, is R* resetting high ranks or was it just him being reported too much? (His stats werent exactly that of a level 200+ who would've done it legit)

 

 

 

If you're saying "Hue hue this friend is you kid hue hue", no. It's not me. I'm rank 73 and I have maxed out all my main stats. I'm just wondering if this happened to someone else, or it was just him being unlucky.

Making anew character doesn't reset ur crew rank

Is it just a 2nd character maybe?

I have two characters and they seem to share crew rank.

If he used a DNS, I'm sure that would be the most likely case for him getting his rank reset. For the reason, I'm sure that R* has a Database of everyone's ranks and time stamps of when someone ranks up a level and so on. Given your friend that was a same rank as you, being Level 73 and going to a 200, in a matter of minutes, would raise flags up on R*'s side.
