I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with V’s Sultan. Honestly I think the regular variant is a little boring. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great car but a little to predictive to my tastes. I’ve had it and sold it like 3 times which is unusual for me.

 

I’ve been wanting to do the Benny’s upgrade for a while but other stuff had higher priority. Recently did though and went with the whole widebody kit and everything, tried to emulate the IV equivalent. Now I love it.

 

The engine note is so robust, I love the sound when idling. Also the turbocharger suits this car better than any other IMO.

 

I’m keeping it with my supers for now.

 

All the customization and mod parts makes it look so beautiful.. the old Rally-fanatic within me couldn’t be happier.

I totally never realized that there was a Colin Mcrae homage livery for the RS Custom. Sure, it's not 1:1, but it's obviously supposed to be his livery. Very cool, immediately bought another as I wasn't willing to alter the Redwood Sultan I have in my Team Redwood garage. Benny has gotten a lot of my money between the new RS and two Elegys I bought to mod into a track racer and the black R32 from Initial D respectively. Say what you will about it's performance, the Sultan RS (and 900R) are the first cars with really, really good customization options added to the game. They laid the groundwork for some of the insane levels of mod options we get on cars these days.

I used the yellow part of that livery as my crew colour for an all over bright yellow and don't have the heart to change it. Might have to buy another for a clean street version

I built mine when they first came out and it was rocking a pink & purple Princess Bubblegum ricey thing and so it pretty much sat untouched in my garage. After playing with a few of these in I/E Sale's I finally decided to redo it & I'm so happy I did.

I've heard that the regular 4 door Sultan is a bullet inside stunt tubes, similar to the X80 in that aspect. Anyone can confirm that?

 

I'm considering getting one to replace the Kuruma as my cheap rally car, but having some sort of class-leading speed on tubes would be quite a bonus.

Dunno about tubes, but Sultan's AWD is beast, even better than any given off road car. Rides up near 90 degrees hills without problems.

Sounds promising, I'll give it a try since it's very cheap. Kuruma was kind of a letdown, rolls over too easily when pushed

With the fully lowered suspension (from LSC, no Bennys mods) it will stick to the road like glue. Will trash anyone else in a higher classed car when the track goes off the concrete. You know, those poorly made tracks where people plot a course all over Blaine County in random paths and it doesn't make any sense at all.

Is the Karin Sultan RS still the most custom car in GTA? I haven't been playing GTA for about a year now, just started playing again.

I've got one and tested myself already, but I appreciate the reply It's in fact really stable offroad, can be thrown around corners as easily in the dirt as it can be in tarmac!

However, my recently acquired Sentinel Classic so far seems to be really close to it in that capability, it's also a very grippy car in the dirt.

It's right up there among the top as far as I know. There's really a lot that you can do with it, I own one and the car can be customized to look like a subtle, clean looking sports car or a full-blown street, track or rally beast! Awesome car, and it drives nicely too, worth it if you have the money. Just don't hope to win races with it, it's in the wrong class sadly

Awesome car, it's only real flaw is being in the wrong class. Wish I could race it against its real peers, like the Elegy.

Edit: @willy156 I really like my sidewalls, too. Never been a massive fan of low profile tires. However, on the Sultan RS in particular they don't exactly work. I had mine running tuner rims for a while, but they just end up looking too small and making the car feel extremely long. I'd recommend switching to something from the sports or high end category, or maybe even SUV if you find something in there that could work. Basically just anything with low profiles might work better for you.
