I just started making the mod...not every mod looks completely different since the beginning

Take omexr's 3xtended mod for example..in beta1 it looked like gta3 with some editing but now...it looks like a totally new game

lolwat all i see is an xbox player model and a horrible enb config. wheres everything else?

Also,if you think that my enb setting is horrible,remember that iii/vc's enb settings are very limited compared to sa/iv

if i were him, i would do this in gta sa engine. he can have sa (past) lc (today) and anywhere city (future) at the same time. also, with dyom, he can easily make those missions too. but with gta3, his passion will soon fail and just drop it in the half of the dev.

 

about dark map issue:

you are using bump maps and they are making the map way too dark. either update your timecycle settings, or enb series to make it brighter, or just drop using it.

I think that i will work on this mod in SA:LC even if i have some things that i don't like about SALC or DYOM

1.Interiors (mostly its SA's interior script fault)

2.DYOM missions cant be converted to main.scm

3.If i try to add many new objects to the map..it crashes

4.DYOM crashes sometimes or doesnt load missions

5.DYOM's cutscene script is kinda...weird

If anyone can fix that or say that any statement i did here is fake..just tell me

If you could actually show some real progress and not some screens from other mods made by other modders, it would be great.

the screens i posted are from my mod..the mod development is kinda slow (for now) but i'll post more pics when i will do some real important progress (missions,map editing,models)

Good idea indeed, but I really doubt it's achievable for the same reasons as many people stated previously- the limits of GTA 3 engine. But the most I can say is good luck with your mod and I hope we will get to play it.

I know that III's limitations are bad...but i don't wanna make the mod in gta sa because i don't like some things from there too...

Looks good! You should make Ghost Town similar to Anywhere City if you want :)

Yeah, use the same textures from default gta 3 and make GT similar to AC. And about the Ghost Town part, you should add it to Portland ;)

Ghost Town will remain part of the upstate...Maybe if i will remake the map in SA engine (i don't wanna use SA:LC because it's kinda unstable for mods)

If i would remake the map in VC engine...i might add Anyhwere city next to upstate..The only thing from AC that i'll add to GT is Jesus Saves and some Zaibatsu things

Good. Don't forget to add the same features from Jesus Saves GTA 2 ;) . And the price there should be 5000, not like GTA 2 ;)

No..I should put a bigger price..GTA3 missions give very much money...

The price should be around 20000-50000

In GTA 3 money is useless expect Bomb da Base part 2 and the Exchange. you get all weapons by HP and firefighter missions. You don't even need to visit P'n'S, because at Hideout there are all 6 bribes after Vigilante.

Yeah...thats why all the HUGE rewards will be reduced to a more realistic payment for example:Farwell Chucky Lee Chong won't be rewarded with 10000$...from now..it will have a 1500$ reward

Kewl! And make those Mafiosi disappear soon after some missions, they are a pain :sui:

After the last mission: The Reign, where you kill Joey Leone, They will only spawn in St Marks but they won't use the shotgun anymore....they will only use pistols and uzis

Also,i know that you are a good mapper..if you want..maybe you can help me for ghost town (Upstate Liberty)

No problem, but my ideas won't fit the whole map ;_; I'd like to make Liberty Upstate twice as big as Liberty City, so yeah :/ I can give you some ideas, so when you'll be making that in GTA LC, then the whole map would fit ;)

Yeah..sadly...GTA:LC is kinda unstable for some users...for example :it crashes to me

how many days will it take to make missions?

think about that a mission needs to have alot of scripts...that means that it will take 3-4 days minimum to make a mission...if i wanna make it complex and add a cutscene...it would take a whole week per mission
