Da_WickedJester
The book of each person's life here on Earth is already made, it is up to the person to pick up their pen and write their own story. Nothing has been set in stone, anything can be changed. -Jesta

EphemeralStar
Can I use a pencil? I like pencils more because then I can doodle in my book and erase stuff too that I don't like. CatDog96

Da_WickedJester
Care to elaborate? Well I don't know where to start really. Never had someone ask me to elaborate before, lol. The way I see life is that it is an open book filled with blank pages waiting to tell a story. The touch of a pen or pencil brings life to the paper, even through age the paper itself tells a story. You are able to read people and what they have been through by their skin. (Example: Never met this person in my life, while introducing myself to him I start reading his face and seeing that he has been through a lot of rough times and has conquered every single one.) Everyone has their story. Our past, present, and future are chapters in our lives. Each chapter tells more about the person. When one has written the closing part to a certain chapter (past), they begin to write a new chapter (present) filled with mystery, adventure, hardships, etc. The chapters for future upcoming events have secrets laying within the chapters being written in the present moment. So that person can change the outcome in the chapters further down the road before the final chapter in their. DEALUX
It depends on what you mean by set in stone. Events (including your choices) could be set in stone, in advance. We know that determinism is a fact, that there are causes for everything that happens, and this includes our choices as well. Now, whether randomness plays a role in this as well, that doesn't give you any control over things either. There is no reason to think that you alone can change anything. You are just a piece in a larger mechanism (the Universe).
