Anytime I want to customize a car for someone else I leave the city. It's very unlikely tank drivers or other trolls will drive all the way out there when there is plenty of people in the city they don't have to drive far to mess with. Tanks have become a big part of the game now so I see no reason to get rid of it.

Ok, Sorry about the loss on the car, it sucks man. I am also on the spectrum with aspergers and my oldest son is autistic. I am not trolling, I have a legitimate question. If you also have agoraphobia causing you to perceive certain environments as dangerous or uncomfortable, why would you join public lobbys?

It's something I'm slowly trying to ease into, by keeping all voice chat disabled, and sticking to myself/with buddies during a public game, I can feel a tad bit more comfortable. I don't want to miss out on the enjoyments of life because of something I had no choice in.

Thats good to hear. And from my life experiences you will grow out of most of the spectrum. I'm 40 now and a lot has changed with my thought processes from being a weird kid.

OP, let me clear something out: you was trying to get in downtown LSC in uninsured car in a public lobby and complaining about some stupid kid who got you twice in different lobbies?

 

No, I won't recommend you to play invite only. But at least try to use remote LSC for this kind of stuff you wanted to do. It's f*cking 3-4 min drive to Paleto Bay and it's extremely unpopulated there and safe. You can transport your car there by road and your pal may just easily fly to the spot in any heli, so it's even faster to get out from there. Let your bud put tacker in Sabre there, insure this beauty, park it somewhere safe and fly out. Or use any close DM/mission/LTS icon to fast travel.

 

Yes, in the game that promotes killing each other and stealing anything that's not glued to the floor it's pretty obvious that community will act like this. Especially, if lobbies are flooded with angry teenagers.

I agree that it sucks and all, but you people need to stop about this crap 'tank has to be removed because i'm buthurt'

 

As you said yourself, he also blow your ass sky high with an RPG. The options are endless.

 

What needs to be done, is a friendly fire off mode 'causes enemie attacks to not make any impact on you or your car' like when being on a mission.

 

Then people will start having fun instead of doing nothing but 1 big deatchmatch.

 

Now its your choice to join a friendly game 'friendly fire off', or a troll infested sh*thole aka friendly fire on mode.

I understand how that can be frustrating, but really, goofing off like that has always been the funnest part of GTA. Quite frankly, your expectation of a peaceful atmosphere in a game about pointless destruction is a little unreasonable. As much as you may dislike having to enter a private lobby to do things safetly, it may be necessarary as people likely aren't going to just stop having fun with the game because you want to play it in a strange way.

I only ever cruise in public lobbies, and rarely run into tanks, some even see me turn around and go the other way, without blowing me up.

 

Honestly, if you hear BOOM BOOM, in the direction of a slowly moving white blimp, just use some common sense and go the opposite direction
