some people are posting the same sh*tty solutions over and over, likr go to invite-only sessions, or go to LSC where no one is around, but it doesn't actually solve the problem that there are assholes with more power than us (since they have tanks). just like how assholes have more power than us IRL (such as politicians, CEOs of corporations, etc.)

 

all your sh*tty solutions are doing is simply getting rid of only the symptoms, and not getting rid of the actual source of the problem

Really? Everyone, this is what a victim sounds like. I'm not seeing anyone with any power. How are they going to follow you into an invite only room! In fact, I'm not even seeing a problem! WTF do politicians have to do with this!

 

You're a room full of players and you can't boot one guy! Please.

 

I had a friend call me yesterday and say he had a hacker with a tank in the room killing people and ask for an assist. I didn't even leave my apartment. I stood by the window watching the fireworks as my mugger pulled him out, stole $16, and drive away with his tank. lol

 

I'm pretty sure that wasn't a symptom. Stop being a victim and start taking responsibility for your problem. Then, and only then, will it go away.

and there ARE people who have power in gta online, the tank they have gives them power.

 

the source of the problem is the amount of c*nts in this game, and them killing everyone with a tank for no reason is one of the symptoms

yeah the tanks are awesome and I just want one. but if I had one, I wouldn't act like a dick and spawnkill EVERYBODY......

R* putted the tank in to wreak havoc in the city killing NPCs, easy dealing with cops and making some missions easier. noobs understand this wrong. and wreak havoc against PLAYERS instead. but even if you removed the tanks, we still had RPGs we still have sticky bombs......so no way you could remove them

All I'm gonna say is there's a reason why the popular servers from MTAVC, vcmp, samp and MTASA didn't have tanks in free roam lobbies....

really? I haven't realized that :D

to me its better. in GTA O at least if you got a heavy sniper, hide somewhere high and faaaar. snipe their asses out. but in these games? tanks are invincible to EVERYTHING but flames......

well then at least give players (NOT NPCs, PLAYERS) the ability to actually destroy tanks, with two stick bombs or something. tanks could take two grenades from a player to be destroyed, but the NPCs still have to do a lot more damage.

 

alternatively, they can improve passive mode. you won't be able to kill or get killed by players at all, but you can still kill NPCs.

 

(in passive mode, you can still get killed by players by getting run over. and you can't kill NPCs but enemy NPCs can kill you. GJ rockstar.)

Tanks should be removed. But then so should the sticky bomb. I place sticky bombs on both exits of the LSC parking lot and try to perfectly time the boom. It's funny. This is what freeroam is about. 100% PVP. When a tank comes along and kills me... I just run away get my tank and blow them up... or switch sessions if I'm feeling lazy. OP you should just do a closed friend session.

Ok, I've restrained myself from talking on this and I think my views are generally clear..

 

but you've got to ask yourself, what kind of person sits there and blows you up 10 times in a row because they can?

 

I mean, it's not exactly challenging..

 

Are these the kind of people they get to work in light bulb factories, inserting filaments all day?? Doing the same repetitive task again and again and again??

 

ANd most of them seem really quiet on the mic too...
