Race creator question

Hi guys, do you know if there's a way of allowing speed boosts in races without people being able to shoot their guns? It seems I need to make it a GTA race but its not really that kind of race, I just want some boosts here and there for certain parts of the track.

If you make it a GTA race it doesn't become a GTA "only" race. It adds the option to make it a GTA race and for people to play it you need to place weapons and stuff. people can still play it as standard race. just place speed boosts and no guns.

Can't they use the guns and ammo they've bought from Ammunation though? Sorry I don't really play GTA races lol.

You can't do it. In GTA Race, people will always be able to use their guns and grenades they bought in Ammunation. Hopefully R* will add a feature to turn this off in the future, because I think a lot of people will like GTA Races with just the boosts, or just the rockets or both.

Yeah I hope they do that. It'd be like Crash Team Racing or Mario Kart if it was just rockets and boosts. That'd be awesome lol.

yeah considering how many game modes there are it's kind of weird they skimped on the in game settings
