well this show gets fed pen wrong, most fed camps that i know of do not have a fence, but they do have guard towers. most of the camps are on an honor type system, there is usually a Fed Low located right next store which is where you will be sent if you f*ck up (not max). But to answer your question, why add another 25 yrs to your time

Yeah, I agree. They carried out the whole Norma religion thing way too long, it got old pretty fast. I was surprised that Ruby Rose's character was introduced so late into the season, and her character was bland tbh.

 

I think they really messed it up by sending Nicky to max so early, but they left a bunch of cliffhangers so I'm really hoping next season's gonna be awesome.

I hope as well. I know its gonna be alot of "flashback" episodes, which they have always had, but they have to do better next season. All the girls in social media are raving about the actor/actress, LOL, Ruby Rose. But I'm like you, she wasn't that much of a factor in the show, small role. I just don't know what all the girls were "WOWING" about when it came her looks. I mean, she looks like a dude. Right? I just just don't get people anymore. They don't want men, but they want women that look like men. Makes no sense. LOL.

Just finished off season 3 last night, have to say I'm kind of disappointed this year.

 

I still love most of the characters and the back story sequences, but there just seemed to be no... plot or direction? There wasn't a particularly memorable "arc" that kept things actually interesting. The last few episodes were the best overall, I have to say Pennsatucky/Doggett and Big Boo have grown on me ten-fold this year, while Piper has gone in the opposite direction and become even more annoying. It's baffling why they got rid of certain characters quite early on as well, and simply never mentioned them again, and there seemed a couple of glaring plot holes, like just how the hell that final scene could have gone on for so long (even though I liked it).

 

I really hope it returns to something more of it's former glory for season 4.

This is one of my favorite shows! I binge watch each season within a couple days. I really want to know what happens to Nicky, and also the whole situation with Daya and the baby. Having a hard time believing Bennett is completely out of the picture; if he is, I'll be mad. Cowardly scumbag..lol! I like all the characters, they are so dynamic and well-written. Usually I get a bit thrown off by shows that show a lot of backstories and different things going on with so many characters at once, but not with OITNB.

I skipped three pages of discussion to simply say that I'd give it to Flaca every day of the week (twice on Sundays).

 

She won my heart when she brought up love as being akin to having pizza and listening to Morrissey. Who can say no to that? What kind of monster would you have to be (besides one spawned in November, naturally)?

 

So, yeah. Flacca.

 

(btw, on a tangential subject, did you know that Mexicans love Morrissey? I can't figure that out, either, but he's huge in that demographic)

Holy sh*t! I rarely watch tv shows but this one was magnficent, specifically during season 2. I think I'm more obsessed with it than I was with Breaking Bad. There are so many compelling characters, but I agree with people who say that the show could do without Piper and Alex. I seriously hate those two, and one of the reasons season 2 was the best one yet is because there was no Piper/Alex romance angle for the most part. Is it just me, or does every scene with these two in prison feature either them having sex, or confronting one another (and then eventually having sex later on)? I noticed this while I was skipping scenes involving these two in season 3.

 

 

ETA: the last scene in season 2 with Miss Rosa escaping in the van; one of the most satisfying endings ever. It gave me chills even if the sheer coincidence of Vee being in the exact same spot was a bit absurd.

 

 

Another ETA: That "Ching Chong Chang" episode made me fall in love with Chang. I think this is probably the best aspect of the show: write an entire episode around a particular inmate including her backstory while not necessarily casting the other characters aside in that same episode. The scene in the outhouse in which she watches a sitcom on her phone alone because she doesn't identify with the other inmates felt all too real.

That's right — the next season was announced before this season even started, so we've been keeping an ear out for info, which we're sharing now. There Will Be New Faces

As you saw at the end of season three, busloads of new prisoners arrive at Litchfield, so clearly we'll be getting some new cast members. One has been announced: Jolene Purdy has booked a recurring role on season four, though it hasn't been revealed whether she'll play a new inmate or another character.

Two Stars Have Been Promoted to Series Regular

Before season three even started, Jackie Cruz, who plays Flaca, and Lea DeLaria, who plays Big Boo, were promoted to series regulars. This means we'll most likely be getting even more insight into Flaca's and Boo's lives.

Alex Probably Isn't Dead

Season three ends with Alex facing off with one of Kubra's assassins, implying that he's about to shoot her. It's a cliff-hanger that makes us wonder whether she dies, but an Instagram Laura Prepon posted this week might give us hope. Prepon's snap — which is captioned "GlassesEyelinerBadge ...excited to get out there and make an awesome season for you guys! #season4 #alexvause #Oitnb #bestfansever" — looks to be current, so unless she's just in a flashback, it looks like Alex doesn't die after all.

Stella May or May Not Be Back

Season three breakout Ruby Rose played Stella, who was sent off to a worse place (max) by Piper. Though that could have been the end for Stella on the show, Rose gave us hope when we asked if she'd be in season four. "It could go either way," she said, which doesn't confirm it, but really doesn't deny it, either.

That's the problem with these Netflix shows. Binge-watching is amongst my most enjoyable pasttimes, but when they release all the episodes at once, you can literally finish in a few days and be waiting a full year until the next one...1-3 episodes being released each week would make a refreshing change. I still haven't forgotten any crappy season 3 was though.

We're finally going back to Litchfield, OITNB is back on Friday! I'll be pencilling in a marathon for the weekend. After a kind of disappointing last season, the trailer has me excited, it looks like it's turning much darker with a bit more direction. The only thing I struggle with every year is pacing myself... finishing up in a few days leads to a year of torture.

Alright so the first half of the show was a little soft, BUT BOY DID IT GET INTENSE IN THE LAST FEW EPISODES.

 

 

Do ya'll think Daya shot the guy in the end? I really wouldn't mind him gone as he was a sick son of a bitch, but it would kinda suck as it would literally make Daya a killer. I can't believe they ended the show with that big of a cliffhanger. And Poussey? I did not see that coming jfc the actress that plays Taystee deserves every award for the show because that was some fine acting this season.

 

Also Caputo seems to be the only sane person in MCC. Everyone in that company is a snake and that Linda person is absolutely horrible.

Oh for sure. He's a very flawed human being, and I also go back and forth, but I feel like he's the only one at MCC who kinda gives a sh*t.

He seemed to be the only one that cared that a person had died in his prison while the rest of the MCC guys were trying to come up with a story to save their asses.
