Sounds like it was a different one of the missions for you, which one was it?

idk but it was a shootout in back of a few buildings, not on road. some enemies came after i reached the place, they got in their bobcats back and came back from a differen route along with that female one i was talking about. btw female target’s clothes were like a pink shirt and white jeans if i remember right.

I think I know the one, it was probably "Dead End". That's cool then, maybe certain assassination targets can just randomly be female. I'll be looking out next time I play it.

If you start the part of The Master and The Molotov that takes place in Perestroika by driving a vehicle through the back door, Faustin won't be able to escape out the back, and will instead run around in a panic before teleporting to the roof.  One of the times I tried this, he also said something along the lines of, "you thought you could trap me? ha ha ha!" right before vanishing.

whenever i switch games in trilogy, the health/body armor will get lost from radar with red sticks like protagonist gets damaged if i have lower health in the current save.

btw is it clear what i’m saying? because i just realised my english isn’t well enough to describe this thing.

Lmao so about the throwing objects at petrol pumps to make them explode thing. I never even thought to try this but I found out yesterday you can even blow them up by throwing a cigarette at them (only took one hit to do it lol). So you can do it with any object. This way I guess you can pretend there's a petrol leak and the cigarette ignites it and blows the pump up 😛

Also back to the knocking guns out of peds hands with melee weapons/pistol whipping. Noticed that not only can you knock a cop's gun out of their hand and cause them to start fist fighting you that way, but they also have unique fist fighting dialogue while they're doing it.

I never noticed before that in one of the Most Wanted missions (the one that says it's in Westdyke but is actually somewhere in Tudor or Port Tudor) a dude will fire a rocket launcher at you. And in another one (the one in the multi storey car park in Leftwood) a dude throws grenades at you.

You can walk around on top of the globe sculpture in Meadows Park (if you carefully land a helicopter on there and get out). Looks like you'll fall through the gaps in the metal but it acts like it's a solid ball. Although interestingly you can shoot through it (the gaps and the metal) as if there's nothing there at all. Had a nice police shootout on there.

One more thing! I've noticed peds exercising on the spot in Middle Park before, on their own or sometimes in a group of two or three. But yesterday I saw a group of seven doing it, standing in formation with another one facing them like he's an instructor teaching an exercise class. Pretty cool.

If you board a boat while a ped is driving it they can fight you! When you climb on they start angrily honking the horn and after a short time they'll get up from the driver's seat. Assumed that like most of the time in GTA the only next step was them getting scared and jumping in the water but nope, depending on the driver you could have a fist fight or gun fight at sea on your hands. Also if you start shooting while on your own boat or on shore while an armed boat driver is nearby they may stop driving and start shooting at you from the deck.

Can this happen in V? Like if it's a redneck's boat in the Alamo Sea? I can't remember

Also only just found out that you can call Brucie for the chopper while with a friend or girlfriend, and they'll ride along in the back hanging out the door. Which is kind of cool because normally you can't be with more than one of them at once (even if it's only for the journey).

Found kind of a cool new use for Brucie's chopper. In the mission Portrait of a Killer (shootout in East Island City where you kill Adam Dimayev), the regular way to do it is just turn up and have a shootout (tells you to use a police computer to find the location but you can just go there if you prefer), and a common alternative is to go on the roof across the street using the stairs and fire escapes and kill everyone from up there by sniping etc.

But another way I just did was to call Brucie for a chopper ride and select the East Island City location. The spot where he lands happens to be on another building directly overlooking the place, which isn't accessible without a helicopter. It's kind of cool to get Brucie to fly you there and take everyone out from directly above, it's much closer than the other building so you can use grenades etc as well as just long range weapons. And then you can either climb down by jumping on a fire escape that goes down into the place (might also be fun to try doing this during the fight) or just use the marker that takes you down to the street and walk away easily.

Edit: ALSO when I was riding in the passenger seat of Brucie's chopper in first person view moving the camera around I noticed there's a sign inside it that says "This helicopter might crash. But we don't really care if it does. Refer to flight manual for help.". I wonder if it's in others or just his, have to check a helitours one.

i like how you can lose the train in mission for manny even though that’s actually not possible to lose a train lol

I honestly don’t know what the writers were thinking, lmao.

Even San Andreas had more logic regarding this point, where you don’t actually “lose” the train even if it reached Los Santos while you’re still in San Fierro in the mission Snail Trail.

I just realized that aggressive NPCs can hang their hands onto a speeding bike while trying to jack the player off, not only cars.

That's awesome though and I didn't know about it. Going to head to Acter and annoy some bikers. I think I can remember Niko getting pulled along a bit/falling over while trying to jack a bike that sped off once so I wanna try it out both ways.

Not sure if posted before but in the mission where you can spare that russian guy or kill him ( the traitor darko or something)

I spared him, and he started to run off. I followed him because I was curious and Roman was giving me the " you did good cousin " speech, but Darko ran out of the airport and was hit by a taxi and subsequently died. Then Roman switched to his disapproving speech that he would say if you killed him.

I guess rockstar never really planned for him to be killed by anyone besides the player so even if he is killed by someone else, it still counts as him being killed by you rather than spared

tell you something similiar that happens in gta 5. in the mission michael saves tracey from this pervert, the guy got hit by a car and died yet tracey blamed michael.

I'm amazed, because I've just seen a delivery in Grand Theft Auto IV - I mean, a guy stood nearby his van (which had rear doors opened) with his notepad.

I've never seen that scene and I've been playing this game since 2011. Nice.

I also came here to post about seeing peds doing something I hadn't seen before. Outside Perestroika late in the evening/night there's two bouncers at the entrance (one is Greek and hilarious to fight calling you a malaka and son of a Turkish whore etc lol) and a line of people waiting to be let in. Just noticed yesterday that they actually pat down the people before letting them in. And also that you don't have to provoke them to fight, in fact if you stand near the door or start to go in they make comments that they don't want you in there like "I don't think so pal", "this is a classy establishment" etc and fight you. I thought maybe this was only after killing Faustin or if you were dressed too casually but no, they never want you in there lol. I don't know if they act like that (or if they even appear) if you go there with a friend/girlfriend at that time, have to try it.

Edit: Tried going there with Roman yesterday and they welcomed me in! Weird that I've never happened to go there with a friend while they were there before. So I guess they just don't like Niko on his own.

i bumped into a car from front and its driver flew out, i didn’t know that was possible.

is it known/normal to see a lot of cabs(like ten or more) on the same road?

I love doing that. Another thing that can happen if you hit another car hard is it can cause a fire to start inside instantly, setting the driver/passengers on fire and they fall out the doors burning to death.

It is for me. I think there's meant to be a lot (especially in Algonquin) just because there's really a lot of cabs like that in New York/Manhattan. I think I've also heard that it's something to do with the game's memory, like cabs are something that are easier/take less memory to spawn so that means they spawn more or something? Not sure if that's confirmed though.

There's various buildings in Algonquin that have moving lit up text on them, there's ones with stock market figures for example. Just noticed that there's also news ones and that they actually display the current headlines for where you are in the storyline (from the Liberty Tree online site which updates as the story progresses). Noticed it on the building directly south of the small police building in Star Junction, between the Cluckin' Bell and Superstar Cafe. Had a look on a save where Algonquin wasn't unlocked yet and sure enough it even has it then. Cool little detail.

In Deconstruction For Beginners if when you walk up the scaffolding you go around to the left instead of the right (it'll do the mini cutscene where Niko moves into cover and there's a grenade tutorial, afterwards kill the next target if you haven't yet but then go left around the building instead of naturally going to the right towards the subsequent target) stand near where the helicopter will come later (watch out for suddenly spawning enemies from this point) and take that target over on the right out with a sniper so the final target appears near you and you can kill him (completing the mission) before the helicopter lands, on completion the helicopter spontaneously explodes in the sky.

another thing i discovered today. we know normally protagonist breaks the window and npcs that are with us simply get in when we jack a car. this time luis was holding his combat mg and he acted a bit slow, after luis trying to open the car’s door henrique acted a bit faster and broke his own side of the window, luis just opened the door like an npc instead of breaking it.

Usually weapons that you can pick up around the map are lying on the ground or on a roof etc. But I found an ingeniously placed knife to pick up yesterday - sticking out of the truck of a tree like face height off the ground as if someone had stabbed it in there and left it. It was in a small area of grass/a couple trees in the north part of South Bohan.

Not sure if this was mentioned already, but there are unused Niko's lines where he expresses anger at his phone when it doesn't work quite as planned. I wish someone implemented it to trigger if a call was done accidentally (immediate hang up by player), for example.

They are used. Call a friend while on a hangout with him (like Roman) and Niko will say these :)

Was on the receiving end of a drive by shooting from a passenger in the back of a taxi in Hove Beach! After causing some trouble nearby that must've pissed the guy (a Russian gang member) off I kept following the taxi in my car and he kept shooting. I've had drive bys from regular cars with gang members in them before but never realised it was possible for a taxi passenger. I guess the drivers will tolerate shooting from passengers in their cabs as long as it isn't Niko!

Hmm... another interesting thing - I was driving a Roman's Taxi, but it was missing a front door - thanks to that I observed that Niko actually presses a 'brake' pedal when you brake... (You must brake hard, though)
