Did you see them General?

Anyway here are some others....

-The stats between the 360 and PS3 versions are different. On the PS3 version it has an addiction level and distance traveled whilst the 360 version doesn't. Keep in mind my 360 version is rather old (I bought it pre-owned in 2010) so I'm not sure if it changed for the 360 Complete Edition. Not sure about PC as I've never played the PC version.

-If you decide to date Michelle before saving Roman from Kalem and Bledar at the basketball courts he'll ring from the hospital after he's been beaten up where you can choose to pick him up or not. Either way he still finds himself at the basketball courts again, but this scenario has low repercussions depending on which you do first in terms of dialogue.

-All clocks in cutscenes are in sync with the phone/in game clock.

-Jim's appearance in GTA IV is far different to that in TLAD. In GTA IV's he's white whilst in TLAD he's black.

-The flying rats aren't the only animals in the game. Every now and then you can see cockroaches near trash bins and stuff.

The PC version does have addiction level.

Also, IIRC in TLaD Jim was also white, or at least hispanic. He doesn't seem black.

He was just different.

Ironically, in "Collector's Item", the guy next to Jim, is the same biker "you kill" in "Tunnel of Death" that is supposedly Jim is encountered...

...Could it be... :O

Silly conspiracy but whatever, Jim could have faked his death and ran off.

Then he moves to LS and works as a small bar owner in Vespucci Beach.

He buys a car from Simeon and Franklin repossess it, he finds that out and hides in the back seat, makes Franklin smash through Simeon's door, sh*t happens, more sh*t happens, they rob a jewelry store together, Johnny notices Jim on TV while f*cking Trevors mom, gets out Kills Trevor and that's where GTA V: The Lost and Stomped begins.

- Calling Roman regularly throughout the storyline will spark interesting conversations regarding current events. Its different every time until the storyline ends.

- Every neighborhood has at least 10 different buildings and some buildings are based off of the same models with different textures and minor adjustments.

Heh, SOL is pretty much in charge of the IV section.

Anywho,

- Following Gang members will cause them to become hostile.

- You can use a vending machine during a fight, the opponents will start to walk away, but may return immediately after.

- Niko can cause more damage with a bat than with a pistol.

- You can use a firetruck to shoot water at peds. If you shoot at a NPC's car, they will get hostile. Some will run away.

- I hate SOL.

Okay then, SOL is a very bad person. He is not to be trusted.

You can call me by my username or you can just call me the Mustachioed Plumber if you want to.

Anycow, I got a few more:

- A particular AoD member, dubbed the "Fat Biker" is popular among the Gta IV community.

- Niko Bellic has accrued the greatest body count of any GTA protagonist thus far, with over 80 possible murders.

- Niko's last name, Belli ( c ) means "war" in latin.

- Niko had a childhood crush on a girl from his village, named Mila Tadic. Roman will confirm this during friend activities.

- Niko is seen a couple times on the commercial for VIP Luxury Ringtones. As he is seen wearing a yellow Perseus jacket, the Russian cap from the Russian Shop, and a pair of white sunglasses, which never made it into the game.

- Cash registers throughout the game have a button that reads "Ask CJ". This is visible through the use of a sniper rifle, zooming in on the keypad of the cash register. This is a reference to CJ from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

- Pedestrian-to-pedestrian dialog will occasionally involve whether Pizza Stack or Burger Shot is better.

- An MP5 was originally going to be the SMG as seen in early pre-release screenshots. It had a 15 round magazine. An image of Niko holding it confirms this. Niko would presumably fire it with both hands on the pistol grip, like the Micro SMG. Its design was later replaced to resemble the S&W MP10.

5368.jpg

- In the third trailer for the game, "Move Up, Ladies", the mission "The Cousin Bellics" is shown during the day while in-game the mission takes place at night.

- GTA:IV is greatly superior to V.

- Pushing the analog/mouse up while aiming improves your chance of getting a headshot.

- Niko's nose is the biggest out of any GTA protagonists.

- Niko is often not served in BurgerShot due to his weight.

I disagree. And, I wouldn't recommend saying that. I believe that it is considered as flame bait.

Just saying.

Anyhooker,

- In an early version of GTA IV, a wooden baseball bat appeared. In the final game there are only aluminium bats.

4481.png

- Grand Theft Auto IV previously held the record for being the most expensive game to develop, coming in at $100 million. The record was previously held by Shenmue, at $47 million, and is now owned by Grand Theft Auto V

- By standing next to Packie and correctly positioning the camera, it's possible to see that he has a box with skulls inside his head.

4557.png

- An early pre-release screenshot of Playboy X depicted him wearing a different colored sweater.

5039.jpg

- If a pirated copy of the game is recognized, the in-game camera will swing wildly around during play.

- Niko's name is actually Big Mouth Prick.

- The name of the mission "I Need Your Clothes, Your Boots and Your Motorcycle" is a reference to Terminator 2, in which Arnold Schwarzenegger says the same line.

- A Zastava M70 was supposed to appear in game, but was most likely replaced with the AK-47. It can be seen during the second trailer for the game, "Looking For That Special Someone".

5190.jpg

Hey SOL, I have a question for ya. I know this isn't the right place to ask, but I figured you already have a lot of PMs so I'll just ask a short question here.

This contains possible spoilers for those who didn't play GTA V.

Doesn't your signature indicate possible spoilers for GTA V? I mean, you post in the Gen Chat section and many people there didn't play V. So, technically, aren't you spoiling the game for them? Just wondering.

O-Kay? Um...... Sure.

I got a few more:

- The pool cue from the pool mini-game is categorized as a weapon, but cannot be acquired outside the context of the mini-game, and thus cannot be used as a weapon. It has all the necessary data, including a HUD icon.

5231.png

- An unused map icon representing a boat can be found in the game's files. Its file name is radar_boattour, suggesting that a boat tour service was once available in the game.

5232.png

- Internal files call the Beechwood City area of Broker "Grayfords", suggesting that Grayfords was Beechwood City's original name.

- Going by Serbian naming customs, Niko's real name is Nikola Belić.

- As most people know, Niko's appearance is based off Sacha from Behind Enemy Lines.

- Contrary to popular belief, Niko isn't Serbian or Russian. He's probably a Serb, but it's never specified. Serbian isn't only spoken in Serbia.

- Roman's mother raised both he and Niko. She was raped and burned to death during the war, but Niko told Roman that she died naturally.

- After buying the Downtown Cab Co. in GTA V, one of the property management missions requests you to bring a man to the docks. There, a group of bikers are standing next to an Emperor with the license plate ROMANB08.

- Tom Goldberg is based on Jack Thompson.

- Oleg Minkov doesn't have to be killed in Wrong Is Right. His car can be destroyed and the mission will still pass.

- Vlad has a tattoo on his neck that says Omerta - 1979 with a lion under it. It is covered by his turtleneck in normal gameplay. He also has a small tattoo on each shoulder that looks like a spider web.

- Mikhail Faustin's hair was originally white.

- Niko's last name, Belli ( c ) means "war" in latin.

The "Belli" thing is pointless, it's just the Anglicised version of Belić which in Serbian means something like "Whiteson", "White" or something like that, it doesn't directly mean white, but it's like making a surname out of the word "white".

Officer Ronson

- The only time doctors and male nurses appear in the whole game is during the mission Flatline, during the freeroam its only nurses. There is files for female doctors aswell but they dont seem to included in any portion of the game. (Excluding Elizabeta's contact)

- During Three Leaf Clover NOOSE incorrectly uses the Police Stockade as it is a prisioner transport. Also the only time they will actually use vehicles that are theirs is during TLC and Tunnel of Death.

- Killing Luis during Three Leaf Clover gives you no penalty due to the fact that his involvement in further missions wasnt thought back then. The intro of TBOGT also proves that Niko cannonically used the grey suit.

- When an officer happens to step just right into your wanted zone without seeing you he will take out his radio and be informed of the situation, briefly after that he will unholster his sidearm.

- Inside of the prision the inmates pretty much perform everyday activities that civilians do.

- Rusty Browns was ment to be an enterable establishment, Police officers were also ment to buy food from there.

- Every plane has the Fly US livery.

- The NOOSE Patriot and Vapid Stanier Cruiser belong to the patriotism and immigration autorithy, the Annihilator's livery is also based off from those used by the Border Patrol.

- SOL loves Niko.

- FIB agents have Golden and silver badges, however all of them read ''Special agent''.

I actually found something today after more than 5 years of owning the game.

-You can steal computer mouse from [email protected] and use it as throwable weapon. (when dropped it makes rather peculiar plastic noise).

-The Mr Tasty icecream van jingle plays faster the faster you drive.

-Toilets and the kitchen area can be entered in Cluckin Bell, but not Burgershot.

-Speaking of which Burgershot is generally much dirtier which more food leftovers on the floor and tables.

Tycek: how do you pick up the mouse? When I tried to do it the prompt for using the computer came up which is LB. Is there a way of picking them up without logging onto the computer since both use the same button?

Just spitballing here, but you might have to shoot the computer beforehand so you don't get the prompt to use it. I'll try it for myself in a few.

@SOL/MVC

I've found that completely by coincidence trying to log into already used computer stealing the mouse in the process. Standing a bit to the right would probably also help.

I know of a way to pick up the mouse.

You should shoot the computer, as Ermac said, and then you should climb on top of the table. Press L1 (I think that's the button to pick up stuff on the PS3) and there, Niko should pick it up.

I actually knew this a few months before V released but, I forgot about it. :p

I just copied that point from a site. :p
I also had four GTA IVs. I only have them because my house once got robbed.
Now, I own two. But, if you count the other two that got robbed, then I would have 4 copies. :p
I still have the boxes of the ones that got robbed. Idiots just took the disk.

-The Intro of TBOGT Has Luis almost ran over by Niko in a Presidente even though Niko is guided towards a Huntley Sport in Three Lead Clover.

-There used to be a ferry as seen in the trailer.

-Cars had a glossy paint in the beta.

-Luis has the most opportunity to make money.

-There is a second porno shop located in Star Junction.

In the online modes, it is possible to spot a random pedestrian holding a pistol. The pedestrian, however, will be oblivious to the fact that they are holding a pistol and will not use it against you if attacked.

I've seen them a few times while doing the swing glitch with my friend and in various other places.
