RARusk
Even if you're not a fan of Elusive Targets you need to try the Gary Busey one if only to listen to the things he says. Pure gold. Niobium
i finally got the game. i really love it so far. currently i'm on bangkok, so i didn't get a chance to play the murica level. only 3 things about this game annoy me. 1. 47 is too squishy. it was like that in all hitman games, but HITMAN in all caps is the worst offender. in HITMAN, 47 dies from 2-3 gunshots. but in it's predecessor, absolution (yeah i know it's the worst example but bear with me), 47 can actually take quite a few gunshots before he dies, even on purist. in HITMAN you have regenerative health, but i don't find it very helpful when you take damage too easily in the first place. why does health matter in a hitman game? well let's say you want to do an entire playthrough without restarting. if you fu*k up and get caught by a guard, and you don't want to restart, how are you going to count on 47 to survive a gunfight. in sapienza i managed killed like 80 people (because i wanted to do a mass murder playthrough for fun), but that invloved constantly running away from guards and striking them from behind, rather than staying behind cover and shooting them like in a normal TPS. speaking of mass murder, another reason you want 47 to not be so squishy is because you might want to do a mass murder run for the lols. i did that alot in BM. i fully upgrade my M4, bring two mines, bring painkillers and adrenaline, and start killing all the crowds like a psycho. (i played the game legitimately too OFC, being stealthy and going for SA.) 2. the level-specific "suits" can go die in a hole. i like my black suit and red tie. 3. this game doesn't have a dark tone like the other hitman games. even absolution had a darker tone than this game (i know, bear with me) overall this game is great. shame it has too many people whining about not having to hold the button for fibre wire or stupid sh*t like that. Lilіth
IIRC the damage to 47 was "adjusted" with a patch that came mid-Sapienza(April/May). Beforehand 47 could sustain a fair bit of gunshots, giving you enough room to grab cover if you're caught in the open. Even so guards have piercing bullets, and to put that simple it's essentially "wallhack bullets".The most you can go for is 297-298 if it's a 2-target map. As far as going psycho and clearing the level goes, H6 doesn't want you to do it. Whenever the devs were confronted with anything gunplay related, they deflected it with "it's intended because Combat is a state you want to avoid", but if you're determined enough you'll find ways. I found them. Niobium
RARusk
And you don't even have to use guns either. You can run around a map and smack people in the face with a Hammer, Expired Can of Spaghetti Sauce, or a Pool Ball (Note: These are the fastest blunt melee weapons to use when knocking people out). The Guards aren't all that smart and you can just wait out of view near a door and pop him in the teeth when he runs in. Just don't take on too many at one time (especially those wielding machine guns and shotguns) and you should be fine. Don't forget to dump their bodies in Containers and Closets so they can't get revived and chase you again (Civilians you can just leave in the open). I found them. Here's a dumb question. If IOI doesn't want us to get into combat situations then why do they insist on giving us multiple Assault Rifles, SMGs, and Shotguns to unlock? Silenced Pistols and Sniper Rifles are fine because that fits into the assassin's toolkit. Assault Rifles, Shotguns, and SMGs not so much. Besides, the main reason you should avoid combat, and do Rampage Running, is because this is how you can cause your games saves to become corrupted and your console to crash repeatedly. At least on the PS4 side anyway. "One day I will think of this as just another job. After all, this is what I do."

Rather have the whole game instead. Is that even gonna be released like that or not? Hitman 6 is technically "complete" now since the last story map is out, and only 1 bonus map is outstanding. The disc release is coming in January, this is also the release date for the last bonus. Difference being that with the disc release you'll also get access to the Requiem Pack, which was a Pre-Order bonus, although there's a possibility that it will be made available for purchase when the disc is out. When/what to buy is now up to you. Affalterbach and Ivan1997GTA

Sure as Widowmaker wrote you will be able to get physical copy in January, but that's just first season out of planned three, which means you're getting just a piece of the storyline without any kind of conclusion, but with cliffhanger and giant "To be continued" sentence written after the final cutscene. Currently it will be as much complete edition as it may be, with second season starting somewhere around mid 2017 very likely. Daz
Just grabbed this game. Was £5 off so I thought f*ck it. Have been waiting so long for it all to come out, pretty pleased with it now I have it all. I have been on it for about 2 weeks or so and I haven't even finished everything on Paris yet. So I am liking the replayability which I didn't expect it to have that much of. I hope all levels have that much content. Only dislikes really aside from it obviously not being as awesome as the originals with the awesome atmosphere and music and mission design. Is that the shooting pretty much sucks 100%. Not that it is a shooter or that is in any way a main part of the game. It just makes me remember the fun times I used to have taking as many guns in to a level as I could with a sawn off, uzi, and a large array of pistols and knives. I miss that ability. I guess it is more balanced having to choose item slots. But still, the actual shooting physics suck ass. The assault rifles are barely even held at all making it look moronic to even aim an rifle. The pistols recoil like a fish flopping out of a lake, none of them sound realistic or satisfying. A real bummer if you ask me. I was hoping for more home made and disguised weapons. I would love to be able to craft with XP some concealable no traceable items like captive bolt guns, sleeve pistols, items not found in a frisk, etc. The game now seems way more about screwdrivers and hammers than any other item or weapon. I dislike how the fibre wire is less of a thing and how you can just knock out anyone at any time. No more syringes or anaesthetics capping out how many you can knock out. Oldschool SA rankings wouldn't let you do that more than once or twice. Also don't like the suit only SA rankings, kind of goes against hitman by not letting you use disguises. The game was never a stealth game. It was a hide in plain sight game. Overall liking it so far and getting really into it as I barely play singleplayer games these days but I like exploring the levels and discovering items and areas. Kind of lame they are going to try and flog another set of maps over time for the same price and I will have to wait for those to all be out too but still, it seems decent overall. I just wish they could have had the whole game ready and ironed out so it could get more praise. Edited November 23, 2016 by Daz Audi
Lilіth
-snip- People complained about gunplay all the way back in April. It doesn't put me off as much as it does you, because I'm more annoyed by the blue toy guns in place of realistic depictions. As far as replayability goes, it's made with it in mind, although a couple of levels aren't as replayable, like the 2 released bonuses. As far as item focus goes, Lethal Poison and syringes seem like what IOI wants people to use since those got a couple of buffs in the past to even out the Rubber Duck/Fire Extinguisher combo that was a cheap way to get SA/SO. Fireman
It did run and I poured 18 hours of my life into it already. It feels a lot like the original Hitman games (with unfortunately the same flaws), but the new locations are gigantic and there are more options of which some are really hard to complete. if you don't use the "follow the giant marker" - option you can get for opportunities. I played each level at least three times so far, going for different approaches, especially the Showstopper level. I must've played that 20 times by now and it wasn't until today that I found out I could climb and hold onto ledges. I do miss some options from earlier hitman games, for example I have a poison syringe, but can't use it to poison food or drinks, only inject it into people right away, maybe I'm missing something, but that seems to be the only option for it. There are places to conceal your weapon, but I haven't seen any like in previous Hitmans where you could hide a weapon in a buffet or something, to sneak past a frisk. These could be things I missed though, but I think they just aren't there. The patrols also seem very basic, most enemies have a patrol of about 10 meters and then they go back, with the exact same route. Pretty much only your targets (or the "disguises" for a specific achievement), ever move more than just a 10-meter patrol. Especially the enemies that go to the bathroom each 20 seconds are unhealthy. Everything else is good though, the disguises work and provide you with a lot of cover, but getting to targets requires you to switch your disguises a lot for different areas (sometimes 5-6 times) and sometimes STILL require you to take a backroute because a colleague has the ability to recognize you. I don't think they were as bad as people make them out to be. The option to complete levels completely disguiseless is also there. The amount of ways you can kill your target is still the best though, on Showstopper I threw a fireaxe from the second level onto the catwalk, into the head of the target without anyone seeing me. That was pretty awesome. Could use more blood though, 8.25/10. I was hoping for more home made and disguised weapons. I would love to be able to craft with XP some concealable no traceable items like captive bolt guns, sleeve pistols, items not found in a frisk, etc. The game now seems way more about screwdrivers and hammers than any other item or weapon. Yeah, I missed this as well, yet I walk through a control point with two wrenches, four screwdrvers, two crowbars and three hammers, I can't walk through with a (hidden) knife or even more ridiculous, a letter opener! Letter openers are official murder weapons. -snip- People complained about gunplay all the way back in April. Yeah, down the line you'll unlock all 3 types of poison vials. As for unlocking, you'll need to gain level mastery to unlock stuff, 20 being the max. Lethal Poison Vial is a Level 11 unlock in World of Tomorrow/Sapienza. In the Paris mission you can get a bottle of poison by dressing up as Helmut Kruger and talking to Dalia. I wish they would put in a special hallucinogenic drug that would make the victim freak out and do crazy things similar to the psychosis gun in Perfect Dark. That way you can get somebody to kill the target for you and take the fall. "One day I will think of this as just another job. After all, this is what I do." If I spend all year doing every challenge in the first level, I think I'll unlock it too? I got proximity breach and combat knife from replaying Showstopper so many times that I reached a high mastery level.
Lilіth
It does matter in which location you accumulate the mastery since items are tied to location mastery, not overall mastery. How you got Breaching Charges and the Combat Knife through Showstopper baffles me though. Then again IOI has had a few server breaches so eh, it's up to speculation. Far as items go, I'd say Bangkok requires you to have a decent amount of items since it's primarily designed around a couple items rather than defaulted (default loadout gets you anywhere). It's still possible but considerably harder when compared to other levels. And location mastery caps out at 20, meaning once you reach it there won't be any more unlocks in terms of items from that level.
