Ok, its not your fault, but still. This game was supposed to have a logic with effort spent <-> status symbols gained.

 

 

And that is completely understandable and I agree.

 

However, all of my unquestionable "legitimately purchased" cars before the money gifting are pre-patch unsellable cars, it would be utterly inconvenient to be left with the couple cars that couldn't be resold. Meaning that getting rid of those for any reason just was further throwing money away.

Social Club stats may or may not reflect what you will have or not have once all is done

 

I have been watching mine and refreshing and emptying my browsers cache and the money has changed several times

 

before things started i had 1.6 billion in the bank and approx 45k in cash

 

since the updates started mine has changed from as little as 45k in cash to zero in the bank, and as much as 45k in cash to 500k in the bank

 

the 45k that seems to stay the same is appox. the amount of cash i was holding when the upgrade began

Well everyone, its been nice having unlimited money and buying everything. Lets get back to work on those missions and survivals now! ;)

Take the hacked money weeks as a "Christmas Break from jobs", and then this purge as a "wake up call to go back to your jobs"!

I hope your theory is true...I was sitting on approx 400k when I was gifted upwards of 500mm (spent 27mm LOL). I'm sitting at $0 now.

 

Social Club stats may or may not reflect what you will have or not have once all is done

Anyone that innocently received GTA$ as a result of these exploits but did not engage in cheating to acquire it will not face any further action - the funds will just be removed , and you'll be able to keep any items you currently own.

Well hopefully they return my goods stolen with gifted cash. Either way, I'll get them again pretty quickly with a couple cash cards. It'll be how it was before sans the 3 Adders. I can steal 3 better cars. Only really need to buy a Feltzer and an Entity and I'll be happy.

I was gifted mine also

I had just over 1 mil before hand

 

But i know i spent money from that gifted amount

and my spending probably out weighed my income, i kept my ammo maxed out at will .....fully modded cars for un-gifted friends to sell ect, and even bought a tank that i have used only once LOL

 

whatever i end up with will be fine by me

Says I've got 50k. Kinda annoyed because I had over 2 mil before the $ gifts. Whatever. As long as I have my cars, I'm good. The $ will be back as they can't patch out Jtag consoles and I know of a few who are gonna get right back on that.

$280,000 left.... I got most of my money from that racing challenge thing a while a go.

 

Not fussed to be honest, I just used my money on cars and upgrades, then binned a car I didn't want and used it to tune another car up. Will just have to stop collecting cars like they're sweets and keep 10 I really like.

SC shows my second character, 1.2 billion gone from the bank and 76 million in cash gone down to 226,000. Half my cars gone from the garage (oddly enough I have been left with the 5 most expensive cars though).

Ok, so just checked again and there is now 119,000 in the bank as well as the cash I had. Still missing 5 cars but they were easy to find anyway.
