1919?

That's when the Treaty of Versailles was signed that officially marked the end of World War 1.

Oh, I see. I thought it was more common to use the armistice of 11 November 1918. Wich is when the real war ended.

I guess it depends on the person. Some World War I memorials in Canada I've seen 1914-1918 written on them and others I've seen 1914-1919. I always take the end of the war to be November 11, 1918.

I guess each one of my great-grandfather's children got a medal from his collection; my grandfather got his World War I medal and his oldest brother got the World War II victory medal. I'm not sure what other medals he received.

Che Guevara was a douche.

Interesting article: http://www.collegiatetimes.com/stories/108...bout-a-murderer

Very interesting article indeed, I'm always open to alternative theories about such topics etc but I will have to look more into this one to come to a conclusion! Thanks for the article icon14.gif !

If you are open to alternatives, read books about him. Don't believe everything you see in the internet. Personally that article seems exagerated. I don't know much about him so I will just say that brutal dictators (Batista) need brutal revolutionaries in order to overthrow them.

Che was a psychopath who took pleasure out of executing innocent people. Most of his victim's "crimes" included being anti-revolutionary, anti-marxist, having wrong opinions in general, etc. He would have killed millions of "capitalists" and "imperialists" (AKA white Americans) if given the chance, but thankfully that piece of sh*t was killed before he could gain any more power. People that whitewash all the horrible things he did remind me of holocaust deniers. Just saying.

And here is my awesome picture:

Yes, he killed many people but I believe that there must be some reason behind it. Che once served as a Dermatologist. He executed corrupt police men on the

take of the US puppet government in Cuba and other traitors to the revolution who wanted to get rich off the war or plunder the people he had sworn to protect.

Excuse me for the off topic.

St. Mary-le-Port Street (Castle Park as it is known now) was once filled with shops and buildings, but they were all heavily damaged/near razed to the ground during the Bristol Blitz, and the only building left standing there now is the shell of the church which stands as a memorial for all those who died during the Bristol Blitz.
