Lock n' Stock
Basically a video series I'm doing, where I compare the basic mechanics in most GTA and Rockstar titles, excluding spin-offs and published-only games of course. I captured every bit of footage by myself and tried to make it as accurate as possible (OCD, don't ask). While I'm not forcing anyone to watch it all the way through (it is a pretty long video), it is worth a watch for those interested in seeing how Rockstar have evolved their gameplay mechanics over the years. Be honest as you want with your criticism, but be fair. I put hours of work into this. It starts off basic at first, but better installments will come showing off other stuff like shooting, driving, aircraft among others. I might even accept suggestions. The description should tell you everything else you need to know. Many people probably had an idea like this in mind. Apologies if I beat you to it, but this is something I'd wanted to do for some time. On-Foot Abilities 1: On-Foot Abilities 2: On-Foot Abilities 3: In-Vehicle Abilities 1: In-Vehicle Abilities 2: I'm also not sure if this is the right kind of thread to advertise videos. If not, I apologise in advance and any mods are free to move it to a different section. ( Table Tennis, Midnight Club Los Angeles, Grand Theft Auto IV, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3, and Grand Theft Auto V ) Show the Rage engine ( Either on Xbox 360 or PS3 ) and everything from how the characters look to the ground textures. I always wanted to see a video showing the engine off. Algonquin Assassin

I always wanted to see a video showing the engine off. Well for now, I'm just showing off how the gameplay mechanics themselves have evolved. I also don't own Table Tennis since it wasn't a PS3 release. Once I'm done with this series, I may do something like that, though a lot of RAGE engine mechanics will be shown in this series like driving, shooting and the like. Bro,i love it keep up and i am subscribing.great thread btw.I love videos about the Evolution of this Legendary Franchise. Cheers pal, I appreciate your feedback. Tyla
Not bad at all GS. It's funny looking back at the Midnight Club LA/GTAV comparison with both protagonists on bikes and how similar they both are in terms of open world and character movement. I can remember the bikes in Midnight Club feeling horrible. Avoided them at all costs. Looks like you ran into the same trouble as me, you're all over the place on that thing. In GTAV they were much more fluid. No Youtube account but I've given this topic a follow. Let's see more soon. Lock n' Stock
Lock n' Stock
I just wanted to say Blood, I thank you alot of your feedback. If the video isn't playing for you, the only advice I can give is to keep trying or use a computer whenever. I may do seperate videos for Max Payne in the near future, and even the GTA series which will also include spin-offs (Stories, Chinatown Wars e.g) And I also appriciate it Tyla. The bikes in Midnight Club LA can be hard to control, but pulling off wheelies is fun. I perfer GTA V handling wise, though I think the drifting and wheelies feel a bit stiff. The hardest bikes to control were definitely in Midnight Club II. I had to re-record the footage several times because I had fallen off quite frequently.
