Survival respawn

Played a survival today with two randoms. (After 1.09 update). After other two players died (maybe wave 6) I ended up dieing as well. Instead if mission being over as usual I actually respawned in the middle of the wave. Anyone else have this happen? Is this a new feature with the update? A glitch? Thanks.

seems like a glitch

once, it completely skipped through rounds 7-10, it showed the rounds come up, and then that leaderboard thing, but no enemies appeared and we ended up winning anyway
