Having Pets.

What would be the point in having a pet in this game?

 

You could just get a Tamagotchi instead and have it next to you whilst you play. Not the most ideal solution but it's something.

There is no point in bringing in pets to the game, Franklin got a dog, go play with that in singleplayer

Dumb idea unless I can have a German Shepherd. They would most likely make it so you couldn't kill the pet. The pet would go back to your apartment or w/e it does in solo mode. It would be in passive mode so to speak.

 

Seriously though I think it would be cool as long as it was legit animals. No T-Rex stuff.........................................nah f that a t-rex would be pretty cool...or a bear.

Not if the pets in god mode and a mountain lion. But yeah they probably won't add them. Some parent will see their kids pet dog get shot and sue them or sick peta on them for animal abuse.

Would love to have a dog and a few cats in my apartment... this is a game, it's doesn't have to be realistic where we take them out every day for a walk, feed them, pick up their poop and clean the litterbox (we can pull a minigun and RPG out of our ass, just how realistic is this anyways?)

 

It would be nice to have a few pets in the apartment that will amuse us by doing their usual things

Chop can't be killed. There's no reason we couldn't have invulnerable pets or, and this is more likely if it does happen imo, pets that can't leave your apartment.

I already have a dog irl. Why would I want to have one that's in a game? There shouldn't be any pets.

There is a very large pet store and website in this game but I doubt we'll get any animal DLC, much as I would love it.

Not sure if having a dog ride shotgun with you into enemy fire is a good thing, but I'm all for having a pet that stays in your apartment or garage (if you don't have an apartment). Even a fish tank would be a nice change of pace. I just don't want a 'your dog has been killed, please pay x amount of money to get him back from the vet' every 5 seconds because it can't stay out of harms way.
