Pegasus spawn mechanics..

I did a search but it's being uncooperative.

 

 

Tanks spawn farther than the point closest to you. (IE you can't spawn a tank at the track if you're right there. It will most likely spawn at the movie studio)

Do they appear as soon as you get off the phone? Doesn't seem the case as I haven't had a Pegasus vehicles be destroyed by the time I got there.

Do they spawn when the player is within eyesight?

Also I'm not clear as to who can drive them when the player vacates the vehicle, or when the tank initially spawns. Does it depend on your PV access settings?

 

Basically I'm trying to heavy snipe tanks on buildings that surround spawn points, and want to know how close the player is when their tank spawns.

You just need to be a certain distance away, if you park at the opposite end of Sandy Shores Airfield and call up Pegasus the vehicle will always spawn right at the other end (where the other planes/helicopters spawn). I haven't really used the trucks/buses/tanks much, buy they always seem to spawn at the closest point possible for me, although I have had a weird spawn point in the past, I was at the top of the map and my tank spawned in the horse racing car park.

Pegasus vehicles won't spawn at the nearest spot. if you're already too much near (for some weird reason), just being a block away or so the closest spawn location will fix the problem and it will then spawn there. It's the same for all pegasus vehicles types : land, air, sea...

 

Happens to me all the time when I rush to the helipad near the marina and call pegasus too late when I'm already pretty much there, and thus have to go to the hospital rooftop on the other side of town instead...

they do not spawn as soon as you call. The marker on the map will be in the general area and once you get there it will shift position to the side of the street where your tank will be (for the movie studio). That has been my experience anyway.

they should be locked so only the person who paid for it can use it. i always destroy my Pegasus vehicles when im done with them to prevent others having fun on my dollar

with the cargobobob it is a little touchy

if I am too close to a spawn point it will spawn at the next closest spawn

 

if i make sure i am a bit away from the spawn I desire ( and looking away for good measure)

it usually will spawn it where I want /expect it

Just be a block or so away when you put the order through and it will spawn at its nearest location, every single time.

yea I know but some dickhead is always after me and I have to call them asap while my PV is flippin on the road and 136 people are shooting at me lol

Only seems to be affected in 2 dimensions though. I've called merryweather several times for an airlift to a heli pad. If I cant see a buzzard when I get there I wont jump out. Ill call pegasus and have them deliver it and it appears right below me. Jump out the merryweather chopper and get straight in
