Shyabang Shyabang
Girl - Holly Boy - Shane (He better grow tall with a name like that). You can call me crazy. I believe that a name plays a huge part on first impression, especially amongst kids. And that in turn affects a kid's personality, which contunues to adulthood. My friends named Holly and Shane are awesome. I want to name my future kids after them.

Finn 7 five 11
Girls names are the hard part. Because I refuse to name my daughter after 1) a pornstar 2) a girl/woman I've had dirty thoughts about (believe me, there's been a LOT) 3) a girl I've slept with, although that doesn't really put a dent in the potential list at all 4) some skank/annoying ass ho that I've known at some point in my life. It doesn't seem hard at first, because there are so many names you could choose from. But famous people make it hard, because I've fantasised about virtually every famous female. Actresses make it even harder because I'll have fantasised about the actress, as well as a lot of the characters they've played. E.g. Jennifer Aniston rules out the names Jennifer, Polly (Along came Polly) and Rachel (Friends). Not that I'd name my daughter Polly because that's a f*cking stupid name. Eh, if it's a girl maybe I'll just do what the Chinese do. Boys names don't really matter, just as long as it sounds OK and doesn't rhyme with a synonym for penis then that's all I'm looking for. I was thinking Leia from Star Wars, I mean I have definitely fantasized about her, but her real name isn't Leia so It kinda works that way. It's a loophole. ExtremoMania
I would like to name my future sons and daughters in either French, German, or Russian names. I'm not really into English names no more because I much prefer the more rare French, German and Russian names. Depends on the naming of my child I suppose, for example my son might go with the name Jean Guillaume, Franchois, Friederich Wilhelm, Vladimir Ian, or Mikhail. I'm not that much familiar with so I might look into more bit of naming children.

If you want to name one kid Juan, the other Mikhail, and the other Pierre, go for it. ExtremoMania
Dr. John
As we are talking about this topic: Seriously, she doesn't even know about India? Anyways, I would like to call my child John. It's a very overused name, I know but that's my favorite name (You can see my Display name too). If there were a girl, I would call her Jene. I don't know what kind of interest I have with the 'J'-names. Edited January 16, 2014 by Dr. John

Shenmue18
For a boy, I'd probably pick something like Troy, Hunter, Logan or Jacob. For a girl, I'd go with Diane, Haley or Brooke.
MarshalMoo
I've always been fond of Fabius Maximus (search: Quintus Fabius Maximus Verrucosus Cunctator.) That would be my boy. My girl would be Persephone (Percy for short.)
SilentSeas
If I have a son, it'll definitely be named Benjamin. As for a girl, I've not given it much thought. I dunno... Shaniqua?
Mcquiz
I think me mother got the best names for my 2 little brothers so the only good ones I can think of are Philip(Fry), Vesse(name is over 800 years old and quite rare even here where it originated) and Kaarel would be half decent as well. Now when it comes to naming girls I have never really thought about it so my best guess would be Stana after Stana Katic.

I've always liked the name Logan, and got a girl Haley, I have also considered naming a daughter after girl friends I have had. Is that weird? EphemeralStar
I've thought more about this and names that I would potentially use for other children. I only really thought of girl names though... because they're prettier. Kierra, Ailee, Flora, Ayva, Kari, Lila, Mira, Camilla, Alerra... I seem to like names that end with the letter "A", and that are generally short and simple. Which will be easier for my kid to spell in school. For boys... I like Kai.
