I like to have the option for racing open on both of my characters, so a 10 car garage is a must for me. My racing garage obviously needs the full ten, and my other garage has an extra muscle and two extra sports cars in place of a SUV, Compact and Sedan (Which are rarely raced anyway so no big loss). I also like the Tinsel Towers location (having moved there from Eclipse), I like being in a less populated building and the view is good in both places, plus the approach when being chased by the cops is easier that at Eclipse, a few runs around the blocks in the vacinity and even choppers can't keep sight of me.

 

If more locations had 10-car garages I'd consider moving (probably not to Sandy Shore though, not unless I can buy two places), but with the relatively limited selection we're given of such apartments I don't see myself being inclined to move again any time soon.

I'ts sad that everyone bought the 400,000 one. It is the worst one, the one right under it is much better.

I wish I could move to a 6 car one but I am too fond of my cars and afraid of which I'd lose.

 

You lose access to the last 4 on the list, so the ones in slots 6-10.

Does it ask you what 6 cars you want to keep? How does that work?

If you switch from a 10 car garage to a 6 car garage, your first 6 cars will be in your garage and the other 4 will always be parked out on the street in front of your apartment. Just remember to move them to the opposite side of the street every Tuesday for city trash pickup.

Even when you go to the confirm screen, it says you will temporarily lose access to some of your vehicles.

I dont think I could switch just yet. I like my crib, I like my 10 cars.. I do not have the most expsnsive crib by any means, however it is a top tier one... One of my favorite things tho there is a sub way tunnel right across the street so if I need a quick out I just fly in there.

 

What we need is an adiitional garage so we can have 2 safe houses.... In San Andreas I liked having a safe house on atleast every island, with additional save spots in the counties... This made for easy hide aways when being chased by cops.... the same should be available for us here in GTA O... and on that note GTA V in general lacks a good number of safe houses.

My main still lives in a dirty slum with a 2-car garage, and honestly I love it. If I could by a 10-car racing garage, I would have no problems living in it indefinitely. Sure, I long to own half a dozen cars, and if I had the space I probably would, but I love my sleezy digs and only use 2 cars as my free mode daily drivers anyway. If race matchmaking ever stops sucking or heists are released, I may reconsider, but I'm not holding my breath on either of those...

I just dumped my Tinsel Tower apartment for a 10 Car Garage in the Southeast section of LS. I now don't have to walk up three flights of stairs just to take an elevator down to my garage...I spawn in my garage! I literally used my apartment for nothing...they currently are a total waste!! My new digs are a block away from LSC and AN and no one is lurking around. If we ever need a heist room, which I am not sure why we would need one anyway, I will go back to an apartment but not back to where I was.

Recently took my 10 car garage near the beach, and replaced it for a six car garage near the oriental theater.

 

Best change I've made in this game for awhile. It's right near a BMX park, like actually it's the next building. There's a pool right behind my house, and there's a ramp you can go off of and ride into the pool.

 

There's a tennis court all the way behind the house. There's a gun store right across from it, a clothing store near that, right down from the clothing store is a hair salon, up the street is a tattoo parlor and movie theater. Then down the street a bit more is the apartment everyone has that costs the most, and Los Santos Customs. So you get a bit of everything.

 

Honestly, I just want to remind people you don't need to keep constantly doing missions to have fun, nor do you need to go out killing. Found a bunch of fun people yesterday, and we all went BMX riding around the city, not racing, just moving around. Some guy tried to hit us, but I jumped over his car on the BMX. Took him down, and quickly pedaled out. Then we just went to all the different BMX parks, only to head back and ramp the bikes over the pool.

 

Then we had a little tennis competetion. Honestly, I'm only putting this out there so more people could learn there's better ways to have fun with this game other than just killing everyone, tanking down everyone, and repeatedly spamming missions. The expense of it? No strippers visting your house, and no 10 car garage. Which is a shame, but eh.

 

I do feel R* should allow people to have a six car garage apartment, AND a garage on the side. One garage, one house would be great. I wish there was a 10 car garage apartment near the location I'm at, but it's whatever.

 

Anyone else have a fun, nonexpensive experience or a time where you traded in something of more expensive for something a bit more enjoyable?
