Maybe something hinting at the beta. I don't know. Anyway, what I found was pretty shocking. I found a list of racial slurs including the N word and other swears. I'm curious why these files were left over. I'm not trying to offend anyone, but I figured I'd share this weird discovery. If you don't believe me, open up GTAIV.exe with a hex editor and search for one of the slurs listed above. I'm not joking. Maybe if a multiplayer name matched the list, it wasn't allowed, or maybe it was going to be used to censor texts between players, but texts were dropped? I don't think you can type messages on multiplayer, besides PM'ing through Xbox Live or PSN. But those two have their own filter systems.
