Persistent online enemies. Rare but really nice.

Anyone ever had a really persistent enemie online who just kep coming and coming for more?

 

Like this guy today, started griefing everyone in a tank, so i killed him with my jet. But then it begins.

 

He tried to kill me with a buzzard, then a annihilator, then again with a buzzard, then again with a tank, then sniper, then with a jet but he crashed into a mountain with an AI jet on his tail who then turned against me for some reason... and then some other random ways of attempting to kill me with a jet/choppers ect. And never got others involved to help him.

 

Whole thing was going on for over an hour and a half....

 

But it seems he never got mad or anything, no hate messages or whatever 'i kept giving him a chance to get anything to attack me just to make the odds more fair'

 

Gotta love those people who keep coming, keep dieing but just don't go all apesh*t. Never seen anything that persistent of killing me in any online game. Way more fun then people whining/crying and jerking off on their mic asap as they get counter-griefed from abusing a tank.

so much fun when theres a bunch of rank 50-150 players fighting each other.

and i personally love camping on a roof and sniping them haha

I'm the same way. While I would never say I want a lobby with a tank lol, now that I have (legitimately) reached level 120 or so, I'm just simply sitting in wait for the next DLC. So what I find myself often doing is basically becoming a bounty hunter that targets cheaters and dbags that mess with people unprovoked.... The way I see it, those people have ruined the game for the time being and I take great enjoyment in knowing that while I kill them over and over, they're somewhere screaming at their tv. It's the same enjoyment they take in doing the same thing but to people who didn't provoke it and often times are unequipped to put up a fair fight.

me too. these are the lobbies i look for. i keep switching sessions until i find one that's fun.

i always mess with people, specially if they are together or are crew mates. i really enjoy battling against more than one player.

 

last night i was facing 2 guys(level 68) that followed me around looking to cashin a 9k bounty i had on me. followed me on their adders, buzzard, everything. by the time one of them killed me i have killed the poor bastard 15 times. i like to taunt people, i can be really rude haha

 

at the end of the day when they quit the combined total was 39-3 hahaha pure ownage!

Yep, this happens to me quite often. I don't know what I did to piss one guy off on Friday ('steal' a bounty?) but he camped outside my apartment with his tank waiting for me. I used the cheap teleportation trick - selected a random race, quit before it started - and spent my time fooling around on the other side of the map. This person wasn't done with me, though. They got a cargobob and flew their tank across the state to get me. Luckily I'd been keeping an eye on them and saw they were coming, by which time I'd found a Buzzard and blasted them out of the sky. Thinking I'd sorted the problem, off I went again to do my own thing, but no, this guy wanted more. Stupidly, I let my guard down while flying around the mountains and he shot me down with his own Buzzard. We then traded kills up in the hills, using the ridges for cover, in the pitch black of night while the coyotes howled. As the sun rose, I got bored and made a run for it. They other player didn't follow. He stood in the hills for ages. I made it to the airstrip and found a car parked next to the chopper. I put a sticky on it and blew it up as I flew away. It was my rival's car. He quit right after I did it. I win!

Join an MC crew, every other MC crew will auto become hostile to you and since MC crews are the most common type of crew you'll always have persistent enemies who are always looking to shoot you.

I get this a lot, its great fun for all parties!. IF I win great, if I lose I send the guy/girl a text saying nice fight!. Many times they send me a friend request, I have turned many enemies into friends and allies!.

Most of the time it's obvious who the bully in the session is. Sometimes it's a crew or sometimes it's a cheater/hacker/modder. Sometimes it's a random who picked a fight. I'll do my best to chase them to the ends of the earth, or until they quit. Doesn't matter if I die more; it makes killing them that much better. I've chased off God modes, and griefing crews alike. It's about persistence and anticipation. It amuses me. No real other reason.

Yup, made a friend from this kind of thing. I think it went on for 40-50 mins with back and forth killings till he finally said "you win".

It would be great if the matchmaking system would at least try to put you in lobbies with your arch enemy and your victim so those rivalries could be ongoing.

You're an idiot. You're level 62 and you think you can judge who hacks?!? The amount of time I've played this game (since October 1st) and the level I'm at, I can promise you that someone at level 250 most likely did NOT hack RP. I would say someone would have to be at least level 400-450..... and even then, someone with no other life than GTAO could probably be at that level by now.

I can get very persistent if someone tries to come after me first. Problem is, I don't die very often,so its usually the other way around...I'll take them out 15-20 times before they even get a shot on me...Makes it very entertaining watching someone else who starts a war, cry when they cant win.

they keep getting madder and madder the more you kill them but they keep chasing you down and forcing you to kill them. eventually it will be 30-1 and they will leave the session talking smack after you let them kill you once.

I had a guy this morning kept trying and trying... i kept getting him with my MG then I wired a parking garage with stickies.... sticky trapped him 10 times till I was out of stickies.... he finally got me once with a carbine rifle then left me alone... must of been a big victory for him.

LMAO, should have taken a nice photo of him being in the swamp, while fying by him. These people.. just because you know how to get a jet, doesn't mean you should fly one if you can't fly.

With me they most of the time just start cursing, send angry pm's and try to kick me or get a whole lot of friends to join the fray.
