Struff Bunstridge
Just do some searches dude. Head over to the modding forums to see what sort of things people are up to. The game's, what, five years old? It's not like it's gonna cost you a whole lot. If mods are your thing, then yes, it's definitely worth it. If not, it's still definitely worth it. Deuce Deuce
cough To answer your question, yes, if you've got a good enough PC that's able to run the game on at least medium settings, it's definitely worth it. The PC version has much more flexibility including but not limited to modding, and of course the enhanced graphics and Draw Distance. As for 'what kind of mods there are', there are f*cking LOADS. Google & here would be your best bet. i heard there is a graphic mod that make gta sa graphic kinda like gta 4 is it true or not Uh, no. I think you're prolly referring to this mod. It DOES give you a nice realistic effect, though. But it chugs the hell out of your game if you've got anything below what's considered a 'standard' rig nowadays. Mad Tony
I think it's worth it. Besides the points already mentioned, you can take screenshots too.

San Andreas was too much like The Sims for my taste, VC and III were better. Still a good game, and worth the $10 it is around here.

Runey
The Sims? Yes, the eating (fat/skinny), working out, girlfriends, etc. were just a pain in the ass, and added nothing fun to the game.
ass reamer
The Sims? Yes, the eating (fat/skinny), working out, girlfriends, etc. were just a pain in the ass, and added nothing fun to the game. All of that was optional, so what difference did it really make? You could easily play through the game without ever going on a date or going in the gym. It would have been better without all that, in my opinion. Wouldn't it be called GTA IV then? But seriously, all those things is something that made SA distinctive from the previous GTAs. And as said before, since they were optional, it didn't make a difference whether or not those features are in the game. If you don't like it, don't do them. R* must have taken the possibility of dislike into consideration.
Deuce Deuce
Haha, I like how we're still discussing this in Gen Chat. @OP: Yes, VC and III are both available for PC too (and should be a lot less costly).
jedimario
While I agree that those extra options certainly don't take away from the game, I think that they could have used the space on the PS2 disc a bit more wisely in just a couple of cases. devilrock28
Is this game still worth buying? My old copy recently crashed and I was wondering if I should buy it again. What do you guys think?
Girish
It depends on how much you enjoyed the game when you had it first. If you're going to ask a San Andreas fan if the game is worth buying again, don't expect a negative answer. Read through this topic and you can guess if it's worth buying or not. devilrock28
Well I did love the game when I first played it so maybe I will buy it again. I'll look through that topic anyway.
