Moved to GTA Series Chat.

 

It's GTA IV for me. The story is probably one of the best stories in GTA series.

I love GTA 5,but i voted for GTA 3 because it was the game that Revolutionised and Popularised the Openworld/Sandbox Genre and also coining the term "GTA Clone".

GTA V, face it the only reason people keep clinging on to Vice City and San Andreas is because of pointless nostalgia.

Vice City aged poorly and San Andreas isnt as good as people say it is since most of the missions involved doing frustratingly stupid stuff for frustratingly stupid reasons. Look at ALL of zeros missions to see my point.

Importantly it shows that GTA V still lacks what the past titles offered and for that reason alone we can't dismiss it just because a lot of time has passed away.

 

I'm still waiting for the best to overcome the amazing Vice City!..

They all have elements that make them different and are all good games, but to me SA was the most fun and the funniest version. And I definitely think SA had the best music. But GTA 5 is second best and although it has some issues, it's not deserving of all the negative posts that I see on an every day basis. At the end of the day it is only a video game and will never be perfect. Just enjoy it and hope for the best.

That's funny, because I find myself always going back to my PS2 just to play them.

 

For their time? They're still unmatched by any other gta, V included.

Bad control? I don't agree with that. Sure, It might seem bad at first, but overtime you get used to it and it feels fluent.

Bad control? I don't agree with that. Sure, It might seem bad at first, but overtime you get used to it and it feels fluent.

 

 

I have to admit the general controls in GTA IV are a bit clunky. Not quite as bad as the older games, but definitely not as smooth and fluid as GTA V, but the game's almost 6 years old so what can ya expect?

In that case,some people still choose GTA IV, why?

 

Just because Vice city is such an old title makes it less relevant to even include in the list of the best?

 

No. Vice City is the best because GTA V has certain aspects that I find to be better in the past. Of course, GTA V has lots of strong points easily beats Vice City but it's still has to reach the point where I can easily overlook the great game Vice City.

 

I can prove you but it's not important since it's not the question of picking the best (for me) rather choosing the game that was the first to impress me on many important things that the later titles fail to improve it or have totally removed it.

sh*t, i want to choose both TLAD and V. TLAD for the story and epic features, and V for the realisticness and small detail that changes the game.

HAHA! Nope. More like a combination of the worst things from gta iv and other non-gta R*games.

 

GTA SA is the best ever made, even though IV/TLAD are my favorites.
