Car DLC

I think we all agree that this game has a DLC wishlist a mile long but this thread is for the sole purpose of discussing potential vehicle DLC in the future. My wishlist is based on adding more vehicles of certain classes. OBVIOUSLY the names are just suggestions based on R*'s humor. And before my list- WHY is there not a non-police version of the Vapid Interceptors (i.e. Crown Victoria and Taurus)!?

 

 

1) A Small yacht. Should be able to fit in somewhat narrow waterway to marina in southwest Los Santos, but a cool add would be the ability to park a chopper and/or car on/in it.

 

2) Ferry Boat- The ability to transport multiple player vehicles on the water would not only be cool but functional- especially if there is future DLC to another island.

 

3) Kayaks and canoes! Simply make the controls of it similar to riding a bike except instead of peddling you row.... Think of how cool it would be to row down the rapids starting at the tube ride place north of the golf course. You could even finally utilize the roof rack on the Tailgater!

 

4) Vapid Adventurer (SUV)- 2014 Ford Explorer (Could be converted to emergency vehicle as well)

 

5) Karin Memphis (Pick-up)- 2014 Toyota Tacoma

 

6) Obey Gemini (Coupe)- 2014 Audi S5

 

7) Annis Platinum (Sports)- 2006 Infiniti G35 2 door coupe

 

8) Dinka Rapport (Sedan)- 2014 Honda Accord 4 door

 

9) Grotti Milan (Super)- 1995 Ferrari F50

 

10) Add ability to purchase tow trailers for transporting boats, ATV's, motorcycles, and bikes. With this comes ability to lock vehicles onto trailers. Simply add ability to add/remove tow hitches at LS Customs for SUV's and pick-ups. These can be utilized by calling Pegasus (Btw don't even get me started on why I hate Pegasus). They must be called while inside a garage or apartment, doing so links it to the vehicle upon the cinematic of the vehicle leaving the garage (assuming it is properly equipped). Calling Pegasus outside in free roam simply gives the option of selecting your boat or bike (which while still displayed in garages, will now be a Pegasus item) followed by an option of free drop or trailer drop. Meaning you can find the item already set on a trailer at a nearby location waiting to be hitched to a vehicle. To re-attach these vehicles simply bring them to the trailer and push left on the D-pad.

If you want cop cars id say wait for the cops n crooks dlc. It seems they dont want us to be cops or have cop cars. As for car DLC, lets hope they bring back some old cars like the Dukes, PMP 600, Blista Compact aswell as new models and types. A second garage would go nicely with additional vehicle DLC.

I couldn't agree more about having a second garage. With 95% of the nutsacs roaming San Andreas in possession of illegitimate millions (apparently many even after the 1.09 patch), the garages have become a thing of the past. PLUS they have some pretty cool locations... Why not allow us to purchase 1 garage and 1 home, utilize the entire map and bring back the functionality of garages.

I would like the Smuggler TBOGT back, now that was a nice racing boat. Yacht would be nice too. But I would prefer helipad access on some of the apartment buildings over the Yacht. I don't think the current slips are big enough for yacht equipped with a helipad to fit.

As with the other two saying we need another garage available to us, I agree. I have a 10-car filled to the brim, and there are a couple more cars I want to ste- buy, keep, and customize.

Having cars from GTA IV in newer versions would be perfectly fine with me, I just threw out some suggestions to expand the car list with some attractive models lol. Not like it would matter in most lobbies though.... Everyone would still only drive Adders, Entity's, or the occasional Sand King. My garage is extremely modest in comparison to most

Come to think of it, isn't there a hotel or motel in every town out there? They could just take the hotel interior from the Jack Howitzer TV show, give it proper collision meshes, and add in a working TV a and a beer to drink or whatever. Vehicles would be handled by parking your current personal vehicle in a designated parking spot, starting an animation where your character tosses the keys to a valet/mechanic and goes to walk inside. You could change vehicles by using the landline phone in the room to call your mechanic and choose a vehicle from a list, which would then be parked outside the hotel.

While I don't share the enthusiasm for this idea, I do think it's a pretty cool one

Bottom left isn't a Super Diamond, it was Consigenti (sp?). We have them in V but it's a 2 door hard top cabrio not a 4 door

The Karin Intruder is the only car that I see that's in V, but it's the off white care on the far right 4th car up. Oh, and in the previous comment about the Vapid Stanier being in the game; that's not what I asked for..... That's an older version of Crown Victoria, this game has what I would assume to be a Stanier 2 (The Sheriff car, unmarked, and a version of black & white cop car are all the newer versions of Crown Victoria). That car as a civilian vehicle is NOT in the game. The same can be said for the Ford Taurus version of the interceptor. Meanwhile the Granger and Buffalo CAN be found as civilian vehicles....
