Attach sticky bombs to players in passive mode?

I know people in passive mode are not hurt by explosions from sticky bombs but does anyone know if it possible to attach stickies to a player in passive mode? What I'm thinking is this could be the ultimate anti-tank weapon, load 5 or 6 stickies onto your friend in passive mode like a bomb vest and have them walk up to the tank and you explode the stickies. Most tank drivers would drive at anyone in passive mode trying to run them over. It would look awesome seeing someone just explode and take out a tank and then just walk out of the blast unhurt like terminator. Could use it to take out people hiding in cover pretty well too.

 

Sorry if this is a stupid idea and not possible, just thinking (which I know is never good for anyone)

I would definitely try that, but it would take a few tries seeing as I know for a fact I would burst out laughing halfway through.

If they can it would be so useful.

I'm not sure. I'm kind of asking if anyone has tested. Would be very useful.

Ok since they wont stick to the player, i know they do stick to a motorcycle,(1 at least) would it be possible for one player to load 5 stickies to a motorcycle, ring lester to go off the radar, and drive up beside Mr.Tank and hit him with the 5 stickies + explosion from the bike?

Cheer up mate. Now you've learned to laugh life will be a lot less grey :-)

 

Edit: yeah your tactic is possible. People do this with cars as well. Good trick is to get a commonly spawning car like an oracle or something and leave it unmodded in a common colour and drive in a similar way to NPCs. If you're off radar there's a fair chance the tanker won't realise your not an NPC until too late.

I wish we could go off radar, open the hatch and drop a few molotov cocktails, or a white phosphorus grenade on the driver. Watch him climb out and do the happy dance.
