Look, I never LSC glitched or anything. I still think glitches should not be punished in any way.

The way a game "is meant to be played" is defined very differently from person to person, so you can't use it as fact.

 

Regardless, a person did not modify a game, they merely played it with what the developer gave them and got a thing that was not widely talked about.

 

If a game does not speak of it's multiplayer before it releases is it punishable because by the trailers and footage showed it was "meant to be played" in singleplayer because that's the only thing they talked about? No.

 

They didn't change the game in any way, it's more like a feature R* never mentioned that's there. Modding changes what's there, but glitching is in the game.

 

Is it punishable that you climbed a ladder and R* never directly told you that you can climb ladders and because of that it's "not how it's supposed to be played"? No.

My say in this: if you're glitching to gain advantage (e.g. levels, money, etc), you're a prick. If you're hacking to gain advantage (e.g. Invincible flaming rocket-powered firetruck), you're also a prick.

 

If you're glitching and it doesn't put you at an advantage (e.g. mask with glasses), it's fine. If you're hacking and it doesn't put you at an advantage (e.g. Spawned rare cars because you suck at finding them *cough*), it's fine.

Glitching is wrong, that is true but you cannot in all seriousness say that someone who took advantage of a loophole in the game is anywhere near as bad as someone who is altering game files and screwing the game up for everyone else. If I had done the LSC glitch, who does it affect? Me and me only. I run around in Godmode blasting everyone and everything in sight, who does it adversly affect? Everyone. Huge difference if you look close enough.

 

Who does the LSC glitch affect?

 

Everyone who races against you, when you are in a car that was modded using glitched cash. Everyone who you chase in a car in free mode where the performance of your car was increased with mods bought using glitched cash. Everyone you kill using bullets/grenades/sticky bombs/rpg's you bought with glitched cash.

 

If you can buy things that you would not have been able to buy without glitched cash, it affects others.

 

..if you look close enough.

 

 

 

 

Doesn't affect me. I've won races with a car without engine mods. Just got to pick the right races and host them so you can disallow modded vehicle. Me buying something with gifted cash does not affect others as they are things I'd have bought sooner or later and my rank is 100% legitimate so everything has been unlocked honestly. Stuff that actually breaks the game like Godmode and tsunami hack are far worse.

 

But clearly you're going for a bit of drama and are missing the point you're trying to make.

 

I shouldn't have to pick races that disallow modded vehicles, I should only be in races with people who legitimately modded their vehicles. You buying car mods with LSC glitched cash DOES affect others as they are things you would have had later, rather than sooner.

The solution is not to adapt the way that I play, but to eradicate the people who play illegitimately.

 

There is nothing wrong with racing against people with upgraded vehicles. But there is something wrong with racing with people who glitched money to upgrade their vehicles. See the difference here?

If you have:

• Done the "LSC" Glitch
• Duped a car.
• Brought a car from single player in.
• Used a wall breach glitch.
• Worn a mask with glasses.
• Stored cop cars.

• Used Godmode
• Summoned #UnlimitedCougars
• Used the tow truck.
• Used a DNS.

Rockstar's terrible programmers who created a game with an unacceptable number of glitches exploits and their failure to properly deal with it is what's really ruining all our experiences. We shouldn't have to debate the degree's of severity for exploits due to a sloppily made game.
