ten-a-penny
AW HELL NAW. I'm happy to live in this generation, but brainless kids whom only think about how much swag are they or how many times diid they f*cked someone up in the ass are who ruin it for me. for females; if you don't dress a tiny skirt, you're a slut. if you don't wear make-up, you're a bitch. if you have knowledge, you're a nerdy bitch. for males; if you don't "engage" with females, you're a feminist. if you're not 100% buffed, you're gay. if you don't go into brainless and pointless fights, you're girly. last time I checked, REAL females are beautiful without this garbage. REAL males never attack defenseless people (girl or boy) REAL females don't care how this girl dress. last time I checked, we had different tastes. REAL males help each other. REAL females and males are equal (kill me of you want. I don't care) REAL males NEVER attack females unless provoked. hell, even if a girl messed with me, a small push should do. not to punch the f*ck out if her. females can't stand what males can. male body can stand this stuff, but female body can't. (though its "kinda" fine if she was your daughter or your sister.......whatever) anyone here hates this garbage boys started to make on their heads? the f*ck is that thing anyways? what happened to parenting? lat time I checked, my father almost killed me because I did something I can't remember. I joked on him and asked him if I can do this sh*tty thing on the boys' heads. he told me that if I did, he'll shave the entire of my head by a knife or just dumb me on the streets. (though I know he was replying to my joke with another. he said that in a funny tone) THAT'S how parenting should be. not dumb your kids and do whateverthef*ck the want. if that's how boys show their "manly" on others, then f*ck it I'm a brown Anthro crocodile with no armor on my back, not a human anymore. I'm done with this f*cked up generation. anyone who puts this bullpoop in their heads deserve to be eaten by a hippo or something, Edited April 10, 2014 by ten-a-penny Th3MaN1, Killzone3265, UrbanForce22 and 2 others

Lil ski
Not really. The earth is fully mapped, so there is nothing left to explore... Uhh the ocean like what they're trying to do finding that plane. That part has never been touched before. And also there's jungles and deserts that no one has ever trekked to...or lived to tell about it. or1 and Killzone3265
Adler
Yup. Main reason being: technology. The main drawback with this time period are environmental crises, but at least we've moved past the fear of blowing the planet up. Raavi

ha! ha! ha!
well, I haven't thought about living other generation it couldn't be possible if you don't have time machine so I try to find satisfaction to my current life. one day I read news article it says in the near future you don't need to drive instead, there's senser in front of car it will automatically lead your destination. I felt it sounds great. however, I thought if that happened that life is quite boring because that means you don't have to get driver's license how can you feel the excitment by achiving your goal? my father miss the day when he drove off road way with his manual transmition car eventhough he drives automatic car now. when you drive manul car you have to use two hands and two feet both however, automatic doesn't I mean there are not many things that human does....is that lucky? na89340qv0n34b09q340
When I was a kid the teenagers were still pretty awful. I remember they listened to eminem a lot, and I didn't like eminem. "Momma had a baby and her head popped off (head popped off x2)" was pretty creepy to listen to when that black albino kid with the funny hair let me listen to it on his CD player when we sat in the bushes. I know whenever someone asks a question like this on one of those websites full of beta peasants like me the answer's always that if the internet wasn't around at this point in their lives they'd probably just go to the library and study and probably be a lot more intelligent. That wouldn't work out for me because my attention span is so small, and I'd probably just end up watching TV instead, or going out and throwing rocks at people if TV weren't around. Unless the short attention span is a result of something around today. At least now there's a lot more to do than before. Sometimes I wish I could live in that time during which archaeologists and historians had the big Egypt obsession, and they were all going out to Egypt to go on those cool archaeological digs and tomb explorations, but it's probably just an image thing and it was probably really boring to actually do that stuff unless it was your first day or you'd just found something cool. There's not much for me in other time periods I think, and now that we've been as far as any we'll ever know we can just relive them through our history and imagination. :

dante財閥
It's a double edged sword. We live in a time where young people and youth have almost been forgotten about. They are demonised by national media and aren't given the proper and necessary tools to thrive and create their own wealth. Instead we've been kicked to the curb and forced to figure out our own sh*t. On the other hand, like someone else mentioned we are living in the most peaceful eras in history. That's no small feat considering planet earth's pretty atrociously violent past, and it's something that I am really grateful for. We also live in an era with the internet, which is an incredible thing honestly. The wealth of information is amazing, and it is doing so much to delete ignorance from our human vocabulary. So yeah. It's a complicated question. But overall I'd say I feel glad to be here. Mafia Drive Gunner

Secura
His general personality wouldn't fit the eighties culture, he himself said that he'd have preferred being a teen in the 80's, what exactly could he do in the 80's that he couldn't do now? His general quality of life would be better today than it would've been thirty years ago, there's nothing he's really missing out on either, which implies he would rather travel to and then live in the 80's rather than having been born in the 70's. The exact same argument could be used against you as well, considering if he was a teenager in the 80's, how would he know he'd have preferred it to being a teenager in the modern day if he'd never experienced the modern day. The whole point of a thread like this existing is to look back and think about what aspects of life in previous centuries and decades we'd prefer over today's, which necessitates existing knowledge of the current time period. I personally would have liked to live in the 70s or 80s. Because it was lower technology and pre internet but still had a decent amount of useful technology and emerging technologies like Microwaves, Video Games, Cell Phones, Computers etc. I also think cars were more stylish and they had common mans muscle cars like the Trans Am back then. And you were actually forced to use regular telephones or payphones to communicate with your friends as opposed to just texting them or Facebooking them. Secura
The major fault with your argument being that those cars from the 70's and 80's haven't stopped existing, neither have landlines. The question is, why would you want to limit your options? Why not use the call function on your phone if you feel like it, living in the modern day isn't what's preventing you from having these things, YOU are. Living in a different time period when those things were more commonplace won't change that. Edited April 25, 2014 by Secura

Why not use the call function on your phone if you feel like it, living in the modern day isn't what's preventing you from having these things, YOU are. Living in a different time period when those things were more commonplace won't change that. Because when you have these modern day conveniences it becomes habit to use them. And some of your friends may only use certain forms of communication so using a landline to call someone's house and ask their mom to speak to them is kind of hard when they don't have a landline. Or experiencing using a payphone is kind of difficult when payphones don't exist anymore. I would just like top live in a time where stuff was like that wasn't even an option and you were forced to use those forms of communication. And plus the world was more overall more cohesive and sociable back in the day and I think it would be interesting to experience that. And top see what the world was like before the internet was around and before computers were common place. And about the cars I meant that it would be a neat opportunity to purchase one off the lot brand new for the original sticker price. Which wasn't an extreme sum back then. If you wanted to buy a brand new pristine Trans Am today you would be looking at forking over well over the original sticker price. Even used ones were that way also. You could buy a nice used Muscle car for cheap because they weren't classics yet. And now a days they are so old and collectible you have to pay a premium for them. The Leviathan
This current gen.? Well, I don't think lucky would be the word. I mean... do you mean in the sense that I am lucky to still be alive to witness this... this SWAG life? In that case, you can take a step back and literally f*ck your own face.
