Hey guys, not sure if this has been found by anyone else, haven't been on since before Christmas, but, I think the merryweather heli was patched in 1.09. I've called the heli pickup about four or five times, tried shooting pilot, and the heli just disappears and you get a wanted level. :(

I've called it 4-5 times since the patch and can't confirm this one..

I noticed that many vehicles despawn right in front of you as soon as the occupants exit the vehicle (police mostly,) or are killed since the new patch dropped. Haven't tried it w/ the heli yet. Not gonna lie I feel like this game just got a hell of a lot more sloppy, rather than improving. Pretty disappointed that we're this far along and this is the slop we're dealing with on top of hackers.

Haven't tried their boat services yet, i'll investigate this one.

 

FYI: Despawns have have been an issue for a while, i have had this happen prior to the patch but it was rare.

It is a tough choice, admittedly. I've started to spare him more often now though because rappelling down to my sniper nests is fun.

How do you get the rappelling thing? I only got that option once.

I like him because I can travel distances while doing something else like getting some water, a snack, or using my laptop :)

No. Shoot him in the head, i think he takes 3 shots and has enough then leaves you stranded.

not sure the pilot knows the flight routine for stealing a jet.

 

that would suck if they pathced this, because even without it merryweather will cut you off. they just cant seem to let us enjoy the little things.

 

i personally think if i bought a 2 mil heli on this game it should be brought to me the same way the merryweather one is, but without having to hijack it.

yep, at hospitals or other designated LZ's. its only a drive half way across the map when you need/want one, no worries.

Not true.

 

They added a crap ton of LZs. There's even one at the docks.
