Having fun in GTA Online/Free Roaming Opinions

So I recorded us playing with some friends having a lot of fun free roaming in GTA online and made a video of it. I spent a good few hours editing this so I hope you enjoy it Please leave your positive AND negative comments, I would like to learn what people think about it.

Also a question for you: I see a lot of the forum members not liking to free roam (some even hate on people who free roam) in Online, what do you think about it? What else can you do to have fun in Online?

We only go only play regular online if we find a lobby with Turks who have mics so we can troll them until they rage quit

im so tired of free roam.... in the last two weeks i have not seen a single mission posted. sure its fun driving around shooting people.. but i wanna play some mssions damnit

Free roam is,ok. Depends on levels and session. Lot of higher levels just shooting rockets. Sucks to be a 30 shooting a 100 in the face over an over then being shot back a litltle and dying sucks.

Yeah i've only been getting character missions and not many at all from players. I'd rather be doing missions than just free-roaming.

Turns out, he just did the stupid "hide in mission because you get shot" thing.

Aren't missions too easy though? The only ones I enjoy are Death Matches and a few custom races.

idk, Rambo every mission is a bore to me too, but one time I was matched with two creative players who coordinated the attacks, and at one point a getaway vehicle was burning so one player used the fire truck to put it out and we all continued, it was fun.

Hell, I don't know. I'm assuming they think it's useless since you can just get run over and you can't fight back.

Hell, I don't know. I'm assuming they think it's useless since you can just get run over and you can't fight back.

 

You can just climb somewhere high or go to your home/garage...

It's awesome when playing with friends because there are so many ways to goof around, but sadly my mates aren't really into player killing so I generally do that on my own when I play solo.

 

I love picking on crews and getting them to try to troll me back. It's all good and fun since I'm only one guy and don't use tanks so it's not like they can say I'm griefing them.

 

My best crew trolling memory is following a crew of 6 bikers that went shopping together (lol wtf) with their bikes all closely parked together outside, so I bided my time and the second they all came out I did a speedy drive through, threw a sticky and blew them all up to hell. Them bros were mad.

Free roam gives me Freedom do play how I want so there's where I play.

It's awesome when playing with friends because there are so many ways to goof around, but sadly my mates aren't really into player killing so I generally do that on my own when I play solo.

 

I love picking on crews and getting them to try to troll me back. It's all good and fun since I'm only one guy and don't use tanks so it's not like they can say I'm griefing them.

I probably should have, but they were 6 outside a urban shop with the bay windows so one of them could have easily spotted me and ruined it all. Plus I wanted to make sure I got every single one of them and their bikes in a blaze of wtfness

 

The pop-up windows went crazy with player kills and BS warnings, totally worth it xD

Or you can be a total hipster and kamikaze them

When one of us gets killed another one hops in a chopper and picks him up and puts him back on the roof to continue our destruction. That's what we do, us vs everyone else. We eventually get left alone and then we turn on each other and just go crazy killing ourselves.
