Do you guys prefer the Carbine Rifle or the Advanced Rifle? Why?

I'm with the Carbine Rifle, because of sound, looks, and overall it's performance. I love getting head shots with it because of how accurate it is with the grip attachment. Don't get me wrong though, the AR handles it self pretty well, but Carbine Rifle is still my all time favorite out of the 2.

Carbine cause the advanced is ugly IMO. I like the classic look and feel of the carbine. And I am halfway decent with it, lol. Halfway.

The Carbine, probably going to switch to the Advanced Rifle though, when i unlock it, because of the better stats.

I've found myself in this same situation recently. The Carbine has better accuracy but the Advanced Rifle has better damage/RoF. Since most of my fights are on the longer end of the range scale, the Carbine seems to prove better for those situations. Normally I use the Combat MG most of the time but that's simply due to its magazine capacity. Seems like I have to dump more rounds into people with that gun whereas the assault rifles seem to kill a little more quickly but you have to be closer.

I use more the Advanced Rifle in missions, since the rate of fire is higher and also the damage you can kill everyone quickly, but the Carbine has awesome accuracy and looks better, but I do like the metal shroud of the Assault SMG and Advanced rifle.

Anyone aware of the reload time between the Carbine Rifle and Advanced Rifle ? Wich one is faster ?

The higher rate of fire of the advanced trumps the slightly higher accuracy of the carbine, IMO.

I prefer the Carbine out of the two.

 

My favorite is the AK though..its just too classy to be beaten out by the other two.

 

Put the LSPD camo on dat AK and you're set.

Carbine.

 

Advanced rifle feels like sh*t at long range. Like someone else said, Carbine is better for headshots too.

 

Advanced rifle just feels more noob user friendly.

Carbine, duh. Just pop the stick up a smidge and bam, headshot.

isnt that any weapon with bullets?

 

We are not talking about the ease of getting a headshot which is confirmed with every weapon since the game was released..... we are talking about rate of fire, recoil, and reload time.

 

fact: the advanced rifle does it better, smoother, and faster

fact: any assualt rifle looks badass

fact: the AK is iconic for making you LOOK like a bad ass

 

last fact: its the last assualt rifle you unlock for a reason.

 

Not true at all, you can get headshots with any gun, but it is a lot easier when the gun your using can keep up a high rate of fire while also maintaining it's accuracy. If you look at the stats of both guns you will see that the carbine, although SLIGHTLY less powerful, is overall the better weapon.

 

show me a zero and spreadsheet from weapon recoil.

 

its evident that the advanced rifle is more accurate. and yes, heashots are the same on every weapon. like i said before.
