To be honest I use the Advanced a lot of the time,but before I had unlocked that, all I ever used was the Carbine,il bring it out occasionally depending on the situation,wether it be misions,gang wars or just fights in the street

never played bf3, or cod. hated both equally.

 

its the most powerful in the game for a reason, sorry you cannot fugure out how to adjust to the learning curve of handling it better than the underpowered weapons. do you ever not assume you know me? try another approach bio.

 

also, what is overpowered? its that way for a reason, the way it was developed to be. just because its strong does that make it illegal to use or something? or is it just because you want to show how awesome you are with every weapon other than the ones being discussed? ill bet its the latter.

Advanced rifle. I just use it a lot and it got that hi tech moving cannon to reduce recoils so it looks cool and hi tech or idk. It got amazing aim behind covers too which is nice when fighting the minigunners or cops in high numbers.

It would honestly be cool if there were more attachments, but you were limited to only a certain amount to vary up the guns. Everyone slaps every attachment on it, since there really is no point not to.

 

If you do remove the silencer, you have more range but the cops are constantly humping your leg.

If you look at the stats of both guns you will see that the carbine, although SLIGHTLY less powerful, is overall the better weapon.

I prefer the Carbine over the Advanced Rifle, a bit more accurate and it feels better while holding and shooting it.

I honestly prefer the Carbine rifle, for unexplicable reasons. The advanced rifle is badass dont get me wrong, but for some reason i like the feel or the carbine rifle more. how about you guys?

Un-silenced then the Carbine has a better feel, more control over the trigger.

 

When you shove a silencer on it the Carbine lacks that feel ... The Advanced has a more precise feel when silenced. The Advanced is slightly shorter = better mobility similar to the Assault SMG.

Noobs gun? Anyway, the advanced rifle doesn't maintain accuracy when your holding down the trigger, you can lock on to someone with the carbine and hold down the trigger while flicking the stick up for a headshot. Why risk missing the headshot by trying to be cool and pulling a one-tap? I want to make sure I kill the other player before he kills me.

Yea I don't like to take chances either which is why I always stick with the Advanced Rifle (because I thought it was more noob friendly lol) I will give the Carbine a try. I think accuracy is better achieved by not holding the trigger down though, just tapping it a few times

I love them both equally to be honest. I love the Advanced Rifle because it is a fast shooter and normally kills them before they kill you and is very accurate too. Plus it looks like the Bullpup relative of the SA80 which makes it f*cking cool just like that. The Carbine is equally as epic, just has that feel to it and is very accurate and powerful, however correct me if I'm wrong, but the Carbine seems to fire slower than the AR, just slightly though which doesn't make the difference substantial, but it can be the difference between dying and killing.

I think I would go for the Advanced Rifle if I could only have one. I have the Blue skin for it, but the orange still looks better lol, looks good, fires good, kills noobs quickly. Three things I want in a gun.

The carbine. I've always liked the M416, and it looks amazing when it's upgraded.

 

It's also very accurate. I'll use the Advanced if I just want to kill somebody quick.

 

Is it an M416? I thought it was just the standard M4 with an aftermarket barrel mod, like when you modify one in Payday 2.

 

For me - advanced in close quarters, carbine for everything else. You can get ridiculous long range kills with the carbine.
