Do you guys prefer the Carbine Rifle or the Advanced Rifle? Why?

I honestly prefer the Carbine rifle, for unexplicable reasons. The advanced rifle is badass dont get me wrong, but for some reason i like the feel or the carbine rifle more. how about you guys?

The carbine. I've always liked the M416, and it looks amazing when it's upgraded.

It's also very accurate. I'll use the Advanced if I just want to kill somebody quick.

I only have a Carbine in my inventory, but it only gets used in survival (rarely). I pretty much always use the AP Pistol on NPC's. In freemode, I use a minigun, lol.

Carbine all the way, as said above, military feeling. Advanced Rifle does the job too, puts out more damage than the Carbine Rifle but the sound is just horrible.

Carbine is my favourite, i think i chose it because of the sound ,and probably because i waste to many bullets firing with the advanced rifle

The Carbine Rifle, for sure. To be honest, that's the only gun I actually use way more than I should. I've never actually used the Advanced Rifle that I know of unless it was in a Survival. I love the Carbine Rifle because of the looks and because it sounds so badass.

To be honest I use the Advanced a lot of the time,but before I had unlocked that, all I ever used was the Carbine,il bring it out occasionally depending on the situation,wether it be misions,gang wars or just fights in the street

I've always just used the combat MG. Mostly because with the extended clip you get 200 rounds and I'm all about not having to waste any time reloading. Does it lose a ton in range and damage to other weapons? I imagine that has to be the tradeoff but I never really looked into it.

Carbine Rifle one of my most favorite rifle is HK416. Tar-21 is awesome too though

Advanced rifle because the carbine was all I used in SP so I wanted something different for MP.

advanced. it clearly has less recoil and a fire faster rate than any other assualt rifle in this game.

that being said, i own a ar-15 and an m-14 IRL because nothing beats a good ol carbine. i love em. my babies.

Advanced rifle feels like sh*t at long range. Like someone else said, Carbine is better for headshots too.

 

Advanced rifle just feels more noob user friendly.

I generally favour bullpup assault rifles, so for that alone, advanced rifle wins out for me.

Advanced rifle higher damage and fire rate is better for killing higher rank players. I do like carbine more though

either in-game stats at ammu-nation lie or that site is wrong, the damage bars are higher on the advanced rifle than the carbine aswell as the rate of fire, this, along with the fact that every weapon aside from the sniper once at a certain distance will all of a sudden not be able to hit the other player at all due to distance, whether using a pistol or advanced rifle. (negating the range stat, unless it means something different)

 

accuracy is down to testing but imo they are so close that the faster time-to-kill of the advanced rifle surely outweighs the every so slightly improved spread of the carbine.

Range definitely effects how far you can lock onto someone from. Like with the mg. I can auto lock someone much further than with the carbine.
