How do you get a jet out of Zancudo now?

There are no SAM's. The missile that people believe comes from the ground is actually from an NPC jet that spawns behind you.

Here is the correct way that never spawns an NPC jet:

 

 

1. Approach from south in heli

2. Land next to jet in the middle of the runways

3. Might have to shoot one guy but only rarely

4. Take off and immediately retract landing gear

5. Hold stick down so you do a half loop and wait for your plane to be upside-down facing the swamp (basically you've made a u-turn but you're upside-down)

6. If you've done this you've evaded the missile

7. Barrel roll so you are flying right-side-up

8. Bank right towards the beach

9. Head out to the ocean and fly LOW towards Los Santos International staying out over the ocean

 

Takes two seconds. NPC jet will never spawn.

He's wrong. Jet doesn't take-off til you're up in the air (he won't spawn at all if you follow my directions above)

If you do a 180 to the ocean and look behind you, you'll see this jet trying to turn around.

 

If you don't leave the area, this jet will not despawn, and will continue to stalk you, even after you lose your wanted level.

Did they really? The jet was way too slow to begin with.... why would they make it slower?!? I noticed that getting the Jet has gotten mysteriously difficult... it may have always been like this, but since the recent patches, a tank would magically spawn outside the hanger whenever you look away from the doors. I can steal jets, but now, the AI Lazers use their guns.

It's so annoying how something like a Rhino can spawn in a 200 foot radius if you look away. Lol

i always use the jump by the highway. go to the first hanger and ascend right from the hanger door. there's a trick to it but i never get shot down
