Hackers really deserve a harsher punishment.

It's getting pathetic.

GTA 4's multiplayer is ruined.

Red Dead Online is ruined. Apparently, the single player is too now due to loading screen errors.

GTA Online is slowly becoming ruined due to hackers/exploiters.

When is enough, enough? Can't there be heavier punishments that exceed past normal virtual punishments and carry on into real life law punishments?

These hackers need something to give them a detourant at this point. Some people can easily just brush it off and say, "It's not that bad." But honestly, ruining a whole experience for people who want to enjoy the future of GTA Online, and I'm not talking the money hackers, etc. Though they should be up there.

The people ruining that experience should get some kind of punishment, because now they're effecting the game I paid for. The god mode hackers, the people who are now hacking animals into Online. It's only a matter of time before freezing hackers come into this.

They're ruining a game we all paid money for, a game that was supposed to have a future but now is becoming more bleak because a bunch of amatuer hackers can't do anything else but waste their "talent" on a virtual game because they're too big of pussies to do anything in reality, or anything that matters.

My question is, is there anything to really do to stop the onslaught of hackers on GTA Online? GTA 4's multiplayer fell without any fixes.

RDR is being ignored. I can only imagine GTA Online is next.

Yeah it got bad from end of 2011 they stopped patching it though so expected.

I would expect this game to go the same route as that. in a year or two from now it will be an iso playground.

how about taking it a step further and try to see how those hackers were enabled to do what they were/are doing..sure they still would be trying to hack, hell some would even succeed i bet..but i would bet money it wouldnt be as extreme as it is now if rockstar would have secured its 'guns' properly and that is something almost no1 speaks about

Yeah, but it's because there's alot more to the issue you tried to use as a comparison. You didn't make any sense, and there's alot of things that would revolve around parenting. I get your general point, but the comparison was still ignorant and stupid at the same time.

 

It's not hard to see how they hacked. R* probably is trying to patch it. R* was actually probably just trying to see if the GAMEPLAY issues were good. Not if some moron who got a chip, and went onto You Tube was going to dig through how many codes to add in some random things.

While I think that people that use the DNS stuff and their modded consoles just to grief other players and destroy others experience deserve a very harsh punishment, I'm tired of everyone that "hacks" being thrown into one big category.

 

I can guarantee that I wouldn't be having near as much fun with this game if I hadn't gotten gifted billions. And, I certainly wouldn't have a single vehicle in my garage, especially one that I enjoy driving, since every vehicle I own was obtained through methods most would consider "hacking".

 

Just some examples of the vehicles,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These vehicles and the notion of creating and bringing in special vehicles is the only reason I still play GTA: Online, and they're the only reason I'm still having fun.

 

So yeah, the vast majority of people who cheat are just doing it to ruin your game. But, there are the select few who just want to let people have more fun.

I feel somewhat bad for those glitchers who like to have fun, and help extend gameplay. Because I can't defend them anymore. I'm just worried.

I am actually worried about the angle of this game. It's GTA ONLINE. It sounds amazing, and it could've been. But I guess we'll never know unless R* pulls a miracle.

It's a damn shame too. A great idea that COULD'VE ADDED MORE CITYS, A MASSIVE WORLD got ruined by some immature modding pricks.

I guess that's where my whole beef comes into it. Just a great experience to be had getting ruined because some people feel more entilted than others. Nice.

Agree, permanent ban. Also once the DNS exploits are fulley fixed, if someone is caught using godmode etc afterwards then they are obviously using a modded console to do so which should result in a console ban. If Microsoft and Sony work with Rockstar then we can put an end to this crap once and for all.
