"Give Cash"

My friend is a low level in GTA ONLINE and I want to give him a couple thousand bucks, I saw the "give cash" option but it will always say "you cannot give players cash at this time and it doesn't even work even on private servers. What's the deal?

I dont think we have ever been able to give cash like that. You can share cash after doing things like robbing armoured trucks and store holdups.I sometimes , when i'm very bored knock over stores and give 100% to the lowest rank in the lobby.

It got removed so that the legit people can't give others money but the hackers can.

Another reason is that Rockstar wants you to buy cashcards, and used hackers as a excuse to remove the feature.

collect a bounty jack an armored truck or rob a store then you can give cash. or just host a high paying job and carry him through it.

Just steal a high value car take it in LSC fully mod it without fitting a tracker, then drive it out and let him sell it. Some of the better cars to sell are the Oracle $117,00 or a Baller around $90,000 are worth it.

except that costs the player modding the car 300k or more so unless you got glitched money that's not a smart option do coveted or potshot a few times to gain some cash

Yeah. I think i would have been too busy trying to make money to even want to share it lol. Nowadays i live LS life comfertably even without being gifted money by the cheats i can spare a few dollars.

 

The car trick is best anyway. I tried giving low levels modded cars to sell and they usually just shoot you or blow the car up leaving you thinking "The f*ck dude im trying to help you here?"

Just with the cheapest paint job there is, you still make a good profit off most of the ones Simeon wants. Most are around 7-11K

the majority of people have millions of dollars if not billions. just mod up a car and have him sell it. easiest way

As above, grab a street car, mod it but don't fit a tracker then let him sell it. What I do for some of the poorer crew members

I got to use this feature 1 time for about half a day with a friend sometime during the first few days.

Yeah definitely would be beneficial to have this button to be honest. I could get myself down to normal amounts of money by sharing the wealth to lower level players, and I actually would do this. Before proceeding to gun them down mercilessly for my own amusement. But it would be good, yeah. I hope they remove the hacked money given to me soon, they didn't take it when I sent a ticket asking for it to go either. Even though they said they would, liars. Shameful..

For those that don't know. It was removed because modders were using "give cash" to "give" negative money. It took the money from the one being given the money and gave it to the modder using the give money option.

 

Funny. Some here complain about Rockstar for removing it but ignore that they would complain more if it was still there.
