BigBadMF
One thing I always dug about GTA SA was that you could be standing on a sidewalk in Los Santos, and suddenly you would see 4 or 5 bikers come cruising along on their hogs. There were times I would steal a hog, and go riding around until I came across such a group, then I would just ride around with them.

It does, actually, around Sandy Shores you can sometimes find a three man formation riding around. If you're playing as Trevor, they'll attack you. One time while doing a booze delievery for the Hen House, I drove past a biker gang and their fire delepted the truck's health in 2 seconds. Assholes. So have you even played V, or do you just claim to so people won't bitch you out when you complain it isn't like GTA SA in every possible way? Official General
Gangs in Grand Theft Auto V Armenian Mafia • Aztecas • Ballas • Families • Lost Brotherhood • Korean Mob • Madrazo Cartel • Marabunta Grande • Triads • Vagos • O'Neil Brothers Gangs in Grand Theft Auto IV Gambetti Crime Family • Pavano Crime Family • Messina Crime Family• Lupisella Crime Family • Ancelotti Crime Family • Pegorino Crime Family • Petrovic Family • Faustin Family • Korean Mob • Jaoming Family • Lee Family • Ming Family •Albanians • Angels of Death • The Lost Brotherhood • Uptown Riders • North Holland Hustlers • M.O.B • East Holland Drug Gang • Yardies • McReary Crime Family • Jewish Mob • Spanish Lords • Northwood Dominican Drug Dealers Gangs were greatly toned down in Grand Theft Auto V. To be totally fair though, region wise it's quite accurate. LA doesnt have the Italian mafia, yardies, dominicans, Spanish Lords, Albanians etc. (Anyone from LA correct me if wrong) Incorrect. Los Angeles has a crime family. The crime family in Los Angeles has been situated there since the early 1900s. Los Angeles has many Jamaican Posse gangs. The Latin Kings (based on the Spanish Lords) also have a strong presence in Los Angeles. Almost every gang in the United States has territory in L.A @ Black and White Carmelo is right bro. The LA underworld scene is not as not as broad as you described. The Los Angeles Mafia crime family is nearly non-existent, possibly even defunct. There may well be Jamaican Posse gangs in LA, but they are too few in number to have any kind of significant presence or influence there - I'm pretty sure LA hardly has any of them. Latin Kings are in LA, but compared to the many different sets of Surenos gangs and MS13, they are just very small fish, they are nowhere near as powerful in LA as they are in New York City, Chicago and the Northeast. cp1dell
Yeah when people think back to GTA SA and think "There were tons of crime families!" they're forgetting the fact that San Fierro and Las Venturas were the ones that were inhabited by said gangs. The Los Angeles Mafia crime family is nearly non-existent, possibly even defunct. Even so, the LA family was never very powerful. If we were really shooting for accuracy...well, you remember the Forellis in GTAIII? That's how the LA mafia would come off.
LewisVee
Gangs are terribly used in this game. And the fact we have only 1 biker gang is also stupid, Liberty City had 3 Outlaw biker gangs, and LS has one, LS should have more gangs overall aswell. I'm not too bothered really but this I what the majority want and I understand why. I'm hoping for a Lamar type DLC with the drug dealing and sh*t, I think it woul be cool taking some families guys to do a drug deal and stealing the drugs, blowing away some bikers while we're at it. Endless possibilities
iProinsias
I don't play multiplayer, i'm referring to single player. They completely ignored them. ...no, they didn't? Trevor's whole introduction period is about The Lost.
OGLuke
gta IV dlc had features that didn't fit into Niko's story, I suspect rockstar to do the same with V DLC and give players gang wars, new heists and other such goodies and as for unexpected adventures.. What aren't you expecting to see happen? Zombies/aliens/ww3? A horror themed dlc is likely to come out in october but they'd probably release a gang dlc first maybe in late spring.
