Do people quitting jobs, blowing up peoples PVs, or getting involved with the hacked money through bounties or random handouts really belong in the category of "Cheater"..? Who do you think really belongs in a virtual prison?

I think that until we start holding a steroid-Olympics, all cheaters shouldn't even be allowed to play with others.

 

Edit: my "cheaters" means people who change code or competitively exploit glitches.

I don't think leaving a job should count as cheating, as people may have reasons of doing so. I think the blowing up player vehicles is stupid, and has been from the start. If somebody wants to blow up my vehicle and pay for the damages, let them! It's not truly affecting me any more then blowing me up in a random ped vehicle. Who doesn't handle hacked money right now? As long as you aren't hacking the money or sharing it, it's not truly "cheating." Exploiting glitches is in no way cheating. If Rockstar failed to script the game properly and made these glitches possible, it's their fault if players use them to their own personal advantage.

When you quit jobs or blow other people's cars, you get put into bad sport lobbies not Cheater's Pool lobbies. If you were given hacked money via the hackers themselves, you won't get put into the CL even if you spend it. The only problem is if you share the money, then you'll be send into CL. I've heard my millions for like 3 months now and I'm still in normal lobbies since I never shared it.

To clear that up for you: Cheater's Pool = Bad Sport's lobbies. It's the same thing.

I do see where blowing up the same PV consecutively might be "bad sporting", but sometimes it's cause that bassturd keeps trying to run you over.! lol

 

Some of these thing simply can't be "zero tolerance" in my honest opinion.

 

@ Gta-freak-VI:

If I am somehow confused here, then that means they tagged me as both. Uncool. I find out my "offense" was when I started throwing unwanted bounty money back at modders. I got tired of it piling up, and saw THE ONLY chance to get rid of it. Shame on me.

 

But-- I'm a bad sport, in the cheater's pool now. So, I better not be mistaken. Because that stupid money was everywhere, and I never wanted or needed it. lol

 

"Bad Sports" share it. "Good Sports" hoard it. Lesson learned...

Bad sport or cheaters pool should go away its gta who cares if you blow up a few cars. Quitting early is sometimes necessary as people troll missions or heck things do come up in real life. Those who actually cheated ie used dns hacks god mode and glitched billions should have accounts deleted and receive a permanent ban for that account or gamertag.

CP is different from BS, although it seems as if people can be a BS within CP. CP is a weird world - everyone thinks it must be armageddon, but I thought it was often oddly mellow.

 

I think people should NOT get BS points for leaving a job with the state of some of the custom created maps. Sometimes I try to leave but it starts anyway. If I have to play "SEAL TEAM SIX" (no, not "Seal Team Six", "SEAL TEAM SIX") for an HOUR (like I tried to get out of this morning) I'd throw my XBOX out the window.

That's a short sentence - it seems to be either 2, 4, 8 or a month or more than that.

 

That's really lousy though what happened to your character - sorry, dude. Hopefully they can do something. I'd just really nicely ask on the message board and hope that Brian or the other one (Paige?) can help you out. Asking on the message board seems far better in terms of getting help vs submitting a ticket/e-help.

Yeah, did a ticket. Followed up. Posted on community a question, Brian actually let me know the CP timer is often wrong. Nice to know my sentence is only ~half what is indicated.

 

I just hope all this BS and CP business don't mess with my right to receive support on a legitimate, unrelated issue. I honestly can barely feel guilty of anything, myself, but I'm trying to be a "Good Sport" about it. You know-- a real one.

 

EDIT: First guy I talked to in the cheater's pool said his timer read 9 months. I had to lift my chin up a bit after that. lol :)

I'm pretty happy with the results. The amount of votes to each does well representing the severity of each "crime". (IMO)

I'd say the glitches are a bit of a potential grey area, since not all will effect other players.
