And since the patch my game keeps leaving the session for no apparent reason after a job. I wondering what they actually do now when they released this patch with so few things in it (what we know...). The patch was still 43mb, like what the other patches were. It's pretty obvious that R* does not publish all the details due the nature of things this patch fixes (glitches & cheats). There is definitely lot of "under the hood" changes. Bald glitch still needs fixing, alert messages like unkown network error and timing out still needs fixing, matchmaking still sucks (always getting matched into LST or capture when clicking on missions). After reading everyone's problems with 1.08, there's no point in updating. Now after reading this with no fix for SP, I'm still not touching it. I completed the story a looong time ago and I didn't get ANY random events or property missions afterwards. Today, as soon I switched from Online to Michael and walked out of his house, I got a message from Tequila-La or whatever that they need help. After that I switched to Franklin and got a random event in a minute. Finally, I switched to Trevor and had a Security Van spawn as well as one more random event. If they indeed fixed it, I'm very glad since I still need to complete a private fare with Franklin's cab company, which I hadn't been able to do due to all the events being somehow glitched. 018361 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had the random event where you get tazered near the desert runway and left in your underwear (as Trevor). I'm over in that area all the time and never had that happen until after the patch, so you may be correct. benny_deuce Posted January 30, 2014 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Downloaded the update today, after that the game froze and my Xbox wont read the disc anymore. and i thought it was just my friends xbox hdd on the weekend.. he'd been complaining about modded cars disappearing in SP story but he probably hadnt been quick saving. hes a gta noob so i showed him how to find the free veyron ( because he'd also been complaining it wasnt on rodeo blvd anymore ) then quicksaved, got wasted then tried to reload and the load spiral freezes. so i think oh well at least my ps3 wont be the same. get home later and guess what..
