Some kids had a petition and everything so they had to go with the latter. This was by far Rockstar's best decision. Who needs Heists anyway? theroc23 Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 It would not surprise me if the just decide to eventually release a half-assed version of "Heist" as a teaser in GTA-5, and then the real thing in GTA-6. IMO this game is too far gone to waste much time on. The only thing that I'm virtually sure of is that it will end up being a monumental disappointment...of course that's just an opinion. Shippuden. Fifty Shades. ...Oh, you mean books. Like, Stephen King kinda books that you're supposed to read? Hell no. But Brian O'Malley knocked Scott Pilgrim out of the park. And Greg Iles could use more attention. Footprints of God was pretty sweet. To be honest, I could give a damn about heists or whether or not they get released. Love 'em in story mode, but I don't want to have to deal with wondering whether or not some random's got my back whilst hiding behind a bank counter littered with bullet shells. Hard enough in every other game mode, sans the context of the bank counter. (Then again, had I many friends, I might consider a group suicide mission. Yes I see the difference but I chose not to care. Rockstar obviously released an unfinished product, planning to cut content up and split it into DLC packs later to sell to the consumer. FACT. If you want to have a discussion about how Take 2 Interactive seems to hate Rockstar games then I'm all for it as I believe the corporate climate of Take 2 is directly responsible for some of the boneheaded decisions made. You don't pay for updates, jackass. I've never payed for an update on Xbox. You pay for DLC which is supposed to add stuff to the already finished product. Not pay-to-update garbage packs that seem to flood the marketplace these days. Which encourages companies to release unfinished products.
