I have no interest in Multiplayer

Single player is better because that how I used to always play it and I can't change my opinion because I base all my opinions on past experiences, as if I shouldn't even try to expand the way I play games.

 

MP is hell of a lot more fun if you have friends, it seems like OP has none.

 

I'm sure that Multiplayer is more fun if you play organized matches. But that would not do for me anyway. I don't like the concept of multiplayer in GTA. I don't add friends. I don't accept friend invites. I never give away my PSN. I'm simply not interested. Particularly not in ''friends'' in videogames. If I wanted to hang out with friends I'd rather do it in real-life not in a videogame. The few games I play online is ARMA III and Red Orchestra: Ostfront. I bought GTA V for singleplayer because that's what I enjoy over everything else.

I played online once, but I didn't really get into it as I've always been a single player person.

 

If I love a game, single player doesn't get boring to me. My favorite game is still Silent Hill for the PS1, and I can play it once a year and not get bored of it.

I like both equally. Single player is good for just wanting to be alone and feel really immersed in the game without others bothering you. Online is for when I wanna have more fun and just cause serious chaos. When I'm online me and my friends have so much fun just doing stupid stuff while messing around, that's something you can't do in single player, So both are equally important in my eyes.

In GTA IV I could jump in multiplayer mode whenever I pleased and was bound have some good fun, however I really can't get into GTA Online, it is just not my cup of tea. Too much hassle for too little in return.

If I were them I would put out a big free yoga DLC just before the real one which will of course be much better.

Singleplayer for me, and it has always been that way.

 

I just wish they'd do away with giving mp exclusive features, like those garages and apartments, vehicles, and being able to sell vehicles to LSC and all the others I forgot to mention. That ain't right.

If you don't have an imagination then singleplayer is not for you. You need to have an imagination to fully enjoy Gta's singleplayer experience.

 

I've got an imagination, it's just that the story was a bit too short, but then we can't do anything about that due to the current gen limitations.

What I would be interested in, though, is COOP.

 

Basically this:

 

Imagine you could choose from Singleplayer, multiplayer and COOP.

 

COOP would be identical to Singleplayer but with one, single difference: the host can invite up to four friends to pick and play as either Michael, Trevor, Franklin, or as their online character. So you're basically having the singleplayer experience but with friends.

• Freeroam and participate in what the world has to offer
• No kiddies in Chrome Adder or Tank spawn killing you
• No god mode, invisibility, set on fire, freeze console hackers
• Cheats like Skyfall and Invincibility that can make some fun and hillarious moments
• More money so you can do whatever you want.

 

Don't forget the multiple protagonists, and the outfits!

 

As militia has mentioned, people who are new to GTA are clueless on how Single Player is very important to the GTA series.

I'm not an online player. It's never appealed to me. Of course, I, as many of you, grew up in the days where you sit in the same room with the person you're playing against, or with, and that was a hell of a lot of fun. Online will never replicate how fun it was.

Because you were again implying that the overall game is bad because of R*'s focus on MP. Like you, I too couldn't give the slightest f*ck about online, but in no way do I feel it had a significant impact on the SP aspect. The only thing that slightly annoys me is the whole 'interior' thing, but I'm going to reserve judgement until all dlc has been released.

Back in the day when we all played single player with our mates round our houses we would say it would be cool if we could play this together. well you can now and you could since 4 GTA5 online aint perfect thats for sure and i was surprised how much time was devoted to multiplayer part but i like it and its a laugh with mates

 

I think your poll should have a 3rd option love the single player but don't mind the online or i enjoy both.

I've played GTA online for 1 day - got to level 7 and had enough. 9 patches after release (so far) doesn't impress me much either, would love to know what time was spent on each part of the game before release.

 

I've completed single-player twice more since then, it's what I like to play best. Single-player DLC is the best chance the game has to appeal to me from now on though, even if it has a cost to it.

and maybe some quick gamesmodes you can just jump in and play with strangers.
