gta 5 converted to iv

So you thought he was working on a similar project but it turned out he was using yours?

yes thats why i tried to get him to join us

then i noticed they were our files so i said i would pay him to drop this he didn't listen so i was forced to throw it out as it was my friend had to rush finish everything we had so many plans for this project

i feel terrible right now i barely slept at all

Get rest and try not to worry for a bit.

Even if it doesn't end up being as much of a surprise, or as secret as you had initially hoped, you could still step back a while and come back to it with the right determination and means to build on it. Even fi V comes out on PC by then (Not implying anything), It looks like a fun project that could add variety to people still liking the way GTA IV plays over V. Specifically the handling and various ENB mods that spice it up.

I realize your channel and this project are very important and personal to you. But you must approach your next train of thought with a rested, fresh mind. Otherwise bad sh*t will happen.

Just try and get some sleep. Easier said that done, i know. But try.

Why would you give that much importance to modding and a youtube channel, after all these has to be just hobbies in life, not a problem source. You should really move from modding for a while and try new things in life that I'm sure will improve your life and help you leave back the depression.

my channel was the first thing in my entire life that gave me a reason to live i felt like i mattered i felt like what i was doing meant something it made me so happy to see the comments from peopel admiring my videos

i was respected by people even when i accidently leaked those gta 5 vehicles.ide files people respected me

my dream was to become the biggest mod showcaser that was my goal but all that failed because of friends stabbing me in the back i was too depressed to make videos of gta 5 on console so i missed out on alot

but yeah i wish i could disconnect from my channel but i can't my channel is my life

now i am curious how he has the files as these seem to be very updated from the ones he posted pictures of before so either someone with knowledge is building ontop of the build or i don't know

We haven't seen countryside yet... Im guessing is not possible due to the map size

no as far as i know the countryside alone won't fit in gta 4

oinly los santos the city and the hill with a little dedication we can build a new countryside with a better size with a big forest stilldre is perfect for this

as for the greenbastard your pictures don't harm me any more i got my video out it's a shame really i don't know what you personally have against me but thanks for this

Hey zzcool - hope all is well. Best of luck to you and everyone else working on this project. Sorry to see it "leaked" by this other person. Never nice when a troll gets in the way and proliferates things you didn't intend to go out yet.

Don't allow it to distract you, though. This person wants the attention. Ignore it.

the new version which will likely be finished whithin some days will have lightpoles and trashcans props

no texture bugs and the vinewood hill

This is so awesome. I love the outdated graphics. No really, seriously: It reminds of GTA3 era graphics which I love.

And bad karma to the guys who back-stabbed you, man.

People can be colder than ice and not realize it.

This generation has cranked out to many closet psychopaths.

Separate from these ugly people and never look back. Trust me.

Still, as Prometheus said you're just a contractor. You say you've devoted your life to your channel, but what comes with that? Money.

Most people may not see you for who you are, but most of the IV PC modders do. All you do is make videos of other peoples mods and then make money off of them.

And that isn't fair.

Just my two cents, from afar.

It gives recognition to the mods, though. Assuming he has a decent amount of followers. Loads of higher-profile people make showcases of mods. Especially for games like Skyrim and Fallout spotlights. And they make money off of that, too.

As long as credit is given and appropriate channel/mod links are heavily emphasized, I see no real problem, in my opinion.

But I'm not that into my YouTube gig, nor am I a proper modder, so I can't speak from direct experience.

I guess people will obviously run to ENB and bloom the sh*t out of it and turn cars into mirrors like usual,

lol so true. I never got the appeal of super reflective, bloomy stuff like that.

If you guys can make it work, you've got something to hold you till V hits the PC.

Credit doesn't matter when someone else is making money for it.

People upload the mods for free on the internet. If they don't want others to make videos off of it and possibily make some money then they shouldn't upload it for free. Simple.

You're a modder, are you telling me that you wouldn't be upset if you worked hard on a mod and then someone else made money off of it?

Making money off of showcasing your mod to more people who might not be aware of it, thus making them download it and increase your overall popularity as a potential quality mod creator. Possibly leading to greater things.

Like that one Skyrim modder that got into Bungie.

Sometimes, attention is more valuable than money. Because that positive attention can open pathways to grander things.

Not saying this is a guarantee. But these things can happen.

Let me tell you something though, what that guy did was original.

Recreating a map on a new engine is cool, but it sure as hell isn't as big as Falskaar is.

Well it definitely isn't a good comparison on my part, I admit. But I'm just saying, in general, there's always a chance of something great spawning from positive attention. So it can't be all bad.

Not meaning to say doing some cool mods guarantess you a spot at Bungie or anything, lol.

As soon as you upload a mod it's there for the taking. The mod is not your possession, you do not have copyright - everyone is free to profit from it as they see fit. The fact that ZZCOOL gives credit to the people who actually made the mod is nothing short of admirable. Well done.

We actually approached zzcool to make videos from GTAIV: San Andreas. That mod was purely done by enthusiasm by us. If he used advertisements on the videos to make money off of it, that's entirely his choice.

And that was your choice. Go ask the creator of Iron Man IV and see how he feels.

oh yeah that mess it's what killed my channel

the mod was months old and once i had made a video of it it wen't viral the author was very happy about this the recognitiion he got i even linked to his facebook page he never once asked me to add more links he even rebooted the entire project after it wen't viral across news sites he was so happy about it posting on facebook every single news article saying "kotaku featured my mod" knowing it was because of me it happened

yet he yelled me out for stealing his views and i did offer him money that pissed him off so many people made a video of that mod HUGE youtubers made a video of that mod did he care about them? no only me

look at officerspeirs and the millions of monetized views he got on that iron man mod

profit is not the reason i am doing this i care about being special to mean something to people you have no idea how much money i have lost to make people feel fairly treated

i offered wapeddell too as he tried to get me to take down my latrest iron man mod video that contained ripped sound from the iron man game i did not know this and he told me he owned the sound i had no choice but to audioswap the video

i begged him and he laughed in my face he started asking me to buy him a freaking gtx titan

so yeah 2013 was my own personal hell some may think i deserved it but i never meant to do anything bad to anyone and i did what i could to make everyone feel fairly treated

as for this mod it will soon be finished

That's very asshole-ish on his part, it's his mod, he is getting recognition, he shouldn't be whining about views, he is getting them.

LETS NOT MAKE THIS TOPIC ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL PROBLEMS?

yeah sorry i'll post some pictures of progress once i can

this should be interesting
