I'm excited for GTA V's release on PC. I want to talk about just mods in general, maybe what mods you want to see and stuff.

Oculus Rift mod..

and spawning stuff mod that would be even cooler than IV spawner mod.

and that jet pack mod above me if done right and professionally that should be cool.

 

edit : oh and also ofcoarse 2 more mods that I mention in my sig which are FPS mod and ENB graphics mod.

Simple Native Trainer for V is all I want, with new features like:

 

- changing player into cow or other animal.

- on-fly customization of weapons, cars

Simple Native Trainer - Endless possibilities.

Texture mods (This can go a long way if textures are properly made)

Higher quality vegetation and more grass.

Added weapons

Added racetracks/other cities.

Liberty City

III Era Cities

Timecycle mods

If it's still possible given that Rockstar has kept all the necessary files in their PC build, switching between the default San Andreas map and the snowy San Andreas map that was only available on Christmas day apparently, and in the Story Mode.

Plus if modding cars will cause taxi bug ,missing or pop-in out textures,its better modders dont do cars at all

Definitely the Simple Native Trainer,.

 

Even after playing V, I still find myself going back to EFLC to fool around with the creative chaotic tools that trainer provides. Love it. I just hope V is as moddable as IV. Somewhat, at least.

No idea if the PC port will be structured the same, but the RPF files in V can already be open and the files are very similar to IV's - most readable in Notepad. It's just a matter of finding all files that do what, and someone making an ASI loader or Scripthook for the game.

 

As for me, I'd like to see all the problems in V fixed.

 

Enable crouching (the animations are there, it's been replaced with Stealth)

No more psychic cops

Stealth working outside of missions

 

Bullet wounds like Max Payne 3 - two issues, they rarely appear, they're only textures painted on to the model whereas MP3 and RDR were mounted models. The good thing is that there are cutscenes with some gore - and since all cutscenes are pre-recorded with no loading screens whatsoever that means the special gore seen in cutscenes could be modded into gameplay.

 

My personal opinion - fix the car handling. IV's problem was the traction and suspension. V handles closer to an arcade game than anything.

 

I'd like to see some stuff from Online ported over to Single Player, like Gang Wars, stores marked on the map.

 

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Another that would be nice would a mod that allows you to only have to play through the game as one protagonist.

 

The one I really want to see though is IV+EFLC ported over. Map, characters, missions all that junk. People have already put together a list of mission from the three games in chronological order - so there's that. It'd be really nice to play through IV's story with the graphics and gameplay mechanics that V has.

I am not in support of modding or Hacking but some these mods are great,hopeful if the game is released for you pc players,it would be cool to have an -Alien Invasion Mod

Of course we need a simple native trainer, and since PC modders are so thoughtful, they will not make it usable for multiplayer games.

I'd like to see a mod, which even can be done even right now:

 

Taking a trip to LC as one of the GTA 5 protagonists. Starting at LC airport, even freeroam will be enough for a start.

The lacking dialogue can be left for subtitles and our imagination.

Possiblity to switch character while in a police chase, possiblity to travel to North Yankton on a plane and explore it, GTA IV handling, invincibility cheat activated until the player desactivates the cheat, possibility to crouch, businesses interiors, snow, more vehicles customizations, first-person view, usable cargo plane. Just some ideas.

Simple Native Trainer. Like some guys has already said, endless fun.

 

ENB. I find the default GTA V graphics quite attractive, but a good ENB would be simply mind blowing.

 

Car mods: I hope that with a wider variety since the beginning, unlike which happened with GTA IV, that the 75% of the car mods made were super cars...

 

By other hand, a multiplayer modification like SAMP, that allowed to have a huge amount of players, car and map mods and custom scripts, would be awesome.

 

LCPD:FR. Pretty cool mod that allows to play as a cop (not always a good one, hehe).

Bring back vigilante missions with option to taze subjects.

Also, black LSPD uniform.(in game files)

 

Bring back paramedics missions with option to CPR unconscious NPCs.

Also, paramedics uniform. (in game files)

 

Bring back firefighter missions with option to use extinguishers on difficult passages (ladders) and water turret on houses. (don't even reqire interiors, just spawning some fire on the facade of the building)

 

Bring back trucker missions (with option to steal/pickup orphaned trailers all around the LS.)

 

Add lifeguard missions (drive out or fly out in ocean in storm to save NPCs from a boat in emergency), swim to drowning NPCs, shoot sharks threating them.

 

Add bus driver missions (eh, just a little checkpoint race with entering passengers)

 

Add some assasination missions (pop random NPCs in various places with random methods, forum style! :))

Ability to remove bodyparts of cars in LS Customs.

Buy Simeons car shop and retrieve/resell cars for yourself.

Spacious garages (interior available in files for GTA:O)

Appropriate reactions from NPCs: paramedics could heal you, club security tells you off before going aggressive, etc.

Funny thing about getting Niko in the game, he actually has an updated character model for GTA V - used in Online for people who got the Collector's Edition. I can't remember if the model has legs or not, but hands and feet are missing. Aside from that, his head and torso is a lot more detailed than it was in IV. So it's only a matter of getting the legs working, some feet and hands, and other clothes if anyone wants that. And of course a script and sound files to get his voice.

 

To add onto my previous post, a mod that fixes the AI's insane accuaracy. I'm talking about the infamous sniper-pistols. And a fix for the helicopters that arrive in less than five seconds after one is destroyed.

-a ton of cars like IV, although I think these will be ported over

-map mods that add new islands to the game like with IV

-Flying cars

-Iron man mod has to be ported over

-ENB

-Simple Native Trainer

-lots of weapon mods and skins

-colored radio icons like in IV and EFLC

-tons of cool aircraft mods. F-22, F-15, and Super Tomcat, X-wing mods anyone?

-different clothing for all 3 characters to add more variety on top of what's already there.

-real life cell phones like the iPhone, Galaxy S II, Xperia and so on from IV.

-a classic multiplayer client so we don't have to put up with the train wreak that's GTA Online

 

And so much more. But the modders have to learn to do these things themselves because there aren't any tools like the Creation Kit or GECK from Rockstar. So it might take a while for the mods to get really complex.
