Yup, I tested a few sound mods with it and no bugs at all, pretty nice.

Yep, it's not only fixed when you install with .waves on modloader but it's fixed even on already installed sounds on SFX package files.

Hm, oh well, the main problem is that's not finished yet and I'm constantly updating it and I don't want people using old buggy versions of the mod, so you need to keep the mod update synchronized between GTA Garage and elsewhere you post, it will be kinda of annoying for you to do so. So maybe it's better to do so when the mod is finished?

Now bugs!!! I need to fix that bug on load :panic:

Anyone else experiencing such a thing? By the way when I purely start a new game and load another the problem doesn't happen but when I do new game, change to M4 and fire a bit and do load game the crash happens. It's really weird.

Do you have Project 2DFX? Does the crash stop when you put it on the modloader ignored list?

What if you remove the asi loader (modloader/.data/plugins/std-asi.dll)?

Anyway send me the entire log because it may be helpful in seeing which files the loader is working with etc.

Removing the std-asi.dll didn't work, but I didn't try without Project 2dfx yet.

When I load a 'new game' after the game is already running (no matter if 'new' or 'saved'), My game almost always crashes, too. Don't know which mod to blame, though. Maybe several.. I'll yet have to do the time consuming trouble-shooting.

I installed a realistic rain sounds mod using the mod loader. Fixed the rain bug for me. Man, you're amazing! This is a great mod. 10/10

I have a question about how it works with DirectX hooks. Would it be possible to have the game in a windows with ENB? Both are Dx9 hooks, so I was curious if that can be done via the mod loader.

Well, he worked on getting .dll's to load via ModLoader. I think only the Limit Adjuster loads atm, as ENB and SweetFX don't load for me.

 

BTW, do you know who the Beatles are?

Sadly no. Plus after some reports looks like SweetFX and ENB hooks don't actually work, I need to look into it later but that's less priority since ENB is extremly simple to install. Turns out the d3d9 hook loader was basically made to load Sacky's Limit Adjuster from some Total Conversions (like Grandcarma), only that, and ENB would be a consequence... that consequence ended up not happening naturally.

I'm getting crashes when trying to load a different save than the one that's already loaded. This is what the log file says:

 

Unhandled exception at 0x004aa3a1 in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas\gta_sa.exe": 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0000001b.

Calling loader.Shutdown();

Okay, so here is the final diagnostic:

It's not modloader fault, but Project 2DFX fault.

Specifically, by the Project 2DFX file "lod_refchimny01.dff", so delete it, I don't know what it does but it is a breaking file.

 

I removed every mod I had on modloader and left only this file (lod_refchimny01.dff) and it crashed, when I exclude it, it doesn't crash... Then to make sure I disabled modloader and installed lod_refchimny01.dff on gta3.img itself and what? Crash.

 

Zera, you're like on a ping-pong aren't you? First CLEO, now modloader, then Project 2DFX, wow :p

James, your mod is broken, go fix it.

Looks like you were right about that one file, deleting it fixed the crashing issue.

EDIT2: Once again, Stiffy goes off the rails because of bullsh*t reasons. For people wondering, he kept spamming me on Skype about how P2dfx broke Modloader and he kept bringing it up every few minutes. So I decided, "fine, f*ck you too" and told him the reason I stopped working on a mod me and him are currently involved in, is because he does no work and never takes anything seriously. I tested his scripts for him and reported every bug I found, I report the bug once and that was it and now he claims that the reason he's spamming me telling me that P2dfx was broken, was because I apparently done the same, when I clearly hadn't. He didn't even tell me what was wrong with P2dfx either, were as I told him everything I could about what was wrong with certain scripts of his and like before, I only reported the issue once, where as he pretty much annoyed me about the P2dfx issues 24/7 without any information. And that's that. I told him he should've taken it to PM and he didn't, so it ain't my problem.

 

Also, his last paragraph. I only recently decided to try out weapon dropper, and I found bugs with it when I was playing with it, he didn't even ask me to look for bugs but I reported them either way, the other scripts he asked me to look for bugs with them. And he didn't look for P2dfx bugs either, Link mentioned P2dfx was causing the crashes and Stiffy just decided to annoy me about it on Skype without giving me any information as to what was causing the bugs since he hasn't even got SA installed right now, but he still wants to annoy me about bugs that aren't even affecting him, so yeah.

Taking into consideration that you don't know sh*t about my life... Meh, I won't even bother explaining it to you, you f*cking pre-puberty asshole. You're the one who's complaining about how I've broke a mod, even though I haven't done a f*cking thing in a month. Now you'll complain how I haven't done a thing. Good. I haven't. I've lost motivation. Why? Probably because assholes like you. You can keep screaming at me how I don't say a thing what crashes my game, probably because I don't just f*cking care. I'm a lot more satisfied nowadays without your P2DFX than reporting every bug it has.

 

I agree with you about how you've been great help when it comes to finding bugs. It took you only half a year to find out that Weapon Dropped actually can be easily f*cked. I thought you said you did everything to find bugs for it? Doesn't seem so. f*ck you.

This mod is amazing. You should add feature to load them from some sort of package like in Source engine it can either load mods from folders(slower) or vpk(faster)
