Like TJGM said, it's a false alarm, if this prevents you from launching the game just add modloader to the exception list on your antivirus configuration.

Cool cheers, also now have working DYOM ... YEAH BUDDYYY !!! time to make some heists again.

just a quick question, when it comes to adding new vehicles handling lines. Does this require the normal route of editing handling.cfg or can this be done via modloader as well ?

Normally, Mod Loader can do this, but as previously stated the plugin that handles this part of the Loader needs to be rewritten and so is not present on this release.

Laremi Story

New version out? Sweet, time to heavily mod the hell out of my TTDISA game and do a 100% runthrough for maximum stress testing.

Are sound mods compatible?

Yeah. I posted a video a page or two back showing it off.

No bro, did you even read the readme?

It's so simple that I just don't know what to answer to such trivial question.

You could at least specify what's your problem.

Since I wanted to play DYOM with all my mods, I'm gonna use this new version. Still waiting for the data plugin though.

EDIT: Crashes at loading, but only when loading a save game, not when starting a new game :/

I've been enjoying ModLoader for a long time now. I've just recently discovered a bug when using particle/effects mods such as Overdose 1.4, New Great Effects, etc.. When you shoot at wooden fences in Grove St, Shoot inside interiors at doors, shoot at some interior floors, or even random objects, it will make the object squirt blood instead of spark or whatever the original particle would be. It's easy to reproduce this problem all you need to do is install Overdose Effects 1.4/1.5 inside your directory GTA San Andreas > ModLoader > [Here]. When you install it the old fashioned way, this issue is not present.

Here's some screen shots showing what I mean.

It's not R*'s fault, seeing as it doesn't happen when you install it directly into your GTA SA Directory. It's just a bug with ModLoader, nothing major, just a tiny bit of annoyance. :p

Overdose has a file that fixed this issue, BUT it doesn't work in SAMP. SAMP supplies override files and the like.

Then your GTA is messed up because in original SA I never had any issues like this, and never had any issues when using mods the old fashioned way. Obviously you don't know what I'm talking about.

With un-modded GTA San Andreas I've not had an issue with blood squirting from these objects I'm shooting now. Neither have I experienced it with Overdose before I used ModLoader, after I installed Overdose in ModLoader that is when the problem appears. It's not off-topic, it's addressing the bug and how to reproduce but for some reason you try to counter it by saying senseless things about bleeding trees, and original gta bugs when that is not what the problem is, nor the topic about. Lets leave it at that.

It's probably because he's trying to install some file that isn't supported on the latest version yet..

True, but it's whatever files that Overdose includes so you'd be able to catch a peak at that and then turn to troubleshooting, IDK if v2.0 of ModLoader has this same problem. I'm using the latest one from GTA Garage.

The latest on GTAG doesn't support object.dat or surfinfo.dat, so you'll have to install them manually until they become supported.
