Will it be possible to overcome the limit of collision files as we discussed some months ago? To recall, the idea was to load collision files as if they were contained in one collision file archive.

Is this compatible with DYOM ? Just getting back into modding after a long absence so this is the first time i've come across this.

 

Man this mod is such a cool idea, i bet there's so many top coders on this site kicking themselves that they didn't think of this ! awesome idea !!

 

EDIT : after testing seems i just get a black screen when loading DYOM missions i've already made.

 

When will this be compatible with DYOM ? is there a work around for this? Sorry if this is already public information just got back !

Modloader worked fine some days ago and now my game crashes without reason after loading. Is there some fix for that ?

 

edit : I found the problem. Some cleo script was the cause

Hi guys.

I'm a total noob when it comes to modding games on PC,so hoping i can get a bit of help with my problem.

The Mods i'd like to use are just the awesome cars that people have created.I have installed "silents asi loader" then "modloader" as instructed to do so,but in game they don't work,the standard cars still appear.

Strange thing is that i also tried the "Back To The Future Mod" with the flying delorean,was a very simple process so had nothing to lose,that worked without a issue and in the process made the modded cars appear in game.

I have seen the mentioning of "CLEO" pop up with some installers also i see that the Back To The Future mod uses it,is CLEO needed for the mods to work? i thought that by itself was a Mod installer?

I'd like to get the cars to work without the BTTF SA mod as it messes with the Res and puts a huge speedo in the corner.

Sorry if this is a repetitive question asked over and over,many other forums are non active so not helpful.

Feel free to contact me in a PM if there's a fix or solution i have missed.

Send modloader.log and maybe a screenshot of your modloader/ directory, I'm to conclude that you installed the cars outside a folder, which doesn't work (e.g. modloader/cheetah.dff)

I'm unsure where to find the moadloader.log file,have had a look for it but haven't seen it,sorry for the lack of knowledge.

The files are in their correct folders inside of the modloader directory,each in seperate folders.

Also forgot to mention that i'm using a CD version of the game not STEAM download if that matters. gtasc.jpg

Mhhh, if the log wasn't created, the asi wasn't loaded, which means no ASI Loader is installed... You said previosly that when you installed CLEO (which comes with an ASI Loader!!!) it worked fine, so that must be the issue.

I installed the "Back to future SA" mod that also included some CLEO files to appear in the directory?

it worked persay but made the cars glitchy,the front wheels were high whilst the rear ones were how the Modders intended them,also resolution was terrible.

I guess i will just leave the mods to the experts and play the regular game :r*:

So i did a fresh install of the game along with copying the ASi & modloader files now i have this error window popping up,then the game starts without mods.

Game version? It's 1.0 when i install it,as i have read that's the one to have?

Erm, I didn't exactly have many mods installed there. I had Silent Patch, Quick Vehicle Spawner, an unreleased version of Project 2dfx and an unreleased version of Mod Loader.

Nope, its the vanilla game timecyc. If you're wondering about the sun, that's part of Silent Patch.
