Nothing, 30FPS is just fine for me, might not be fine for you or ZaxxerDog, simple as that.

It isn't impossible to do 100% in 60FPS, just harder, an extra challenge.

I say the Beat the Cock missions are super hard, but I can't think of anything else that depends on 30 FPS too much although I don't remember all missions. Driving school is hard either way.

Oh and I played the mobile version with framelimiter turned off too. God bless War Drum.

BTW I don't care if you play with 30 FPS. I really don't. It's your choice that's why R* even included the option and that's why PCs will always be better, because you have freedom to do what you want, but this whole you can't finish the game without it is silly unless you are really casual player and never played the game before.

@ZaxxerDog - For simple driving and shooting around more than 30FPS is fine, however some of us also want to do 100% storyline without any flaws.

About the save, no you should be fine.

I 100%ed the game with 60 FPS. What now? :D

I could also play Borderlands 2 with Prequel gravity.. but so what?

The problem is that the game wasn't meant to be played in this way, and recommending it to first time noob users is quite reckless imo

If and only if you know the long, almost infinite, list of the glitches this implies you could say you are "enjoying" the game without frame limiter

But I'm still not able to believe you really can't see handling differences :\

That's why I am okay with PCGW having the notices about it, because new users could be just bad at games, but everyone here is probably veteran that already finished the game multiple times. They don't need it.

Comparing something that is completely gamebreaking to bunch of "bugs" that only happen to fraction of users. Mirh pls.

And yes I don't see any differences. C'mon now I told I you played the game on PS3 and that is just PS2 version running through software emulator :D

Guess I'll have to do playthrough of LA Noire in 60 FPS as I played it in 30 FPS without knowing it's possible to unlock. Bully too. I bet these 60 FPS bugs in Bully are placebo as well.

BTW this whole thing needs to stop sooner or later anyway. It's stupid derail :/

AFAIK Bully has some Snowballs mission that is impossible to finish with 60 FPS :) And due to the sh*ttyness of that port I doubt someone is able to get steady 60 FPS :)

What about of this glitch:

This script for cleo should repair all damage caused by a standard in-game button cheat. The most noticeable symptom is that Madd Dogg immediately jumps to his death during the Madd Dogg story mission very late in the game. Other symptoms include hostile vendors, drug dealers, girlfriends, npcs in gyms and some mission npcs. The script will set the standard game acquaintances for CivMale, CivFemale, Dealer, Medic, Fireman, and Bums, although only the first three show any change in behavior.

Note that you can easily check for the glitch at any point in-game by visiting a vending cart vendor (Chili Dogs, Cherry Poppers, Noodles). If the vendor attacks CJ or other peds the glitch is present. I'm not sure, but you may need to leave and come back to get the vendor to notice a change in settings.

---

The glitches tend to be named for the most noticeable symptom; the root cause is usually discovered later. The basketball glitch is where basketballs no longer appear on the courts and is caused by saving in Madd Dogg's Crib; or more accurately, saving near an active basketball, and Madd Dogg's disk is too close to his basketball court. The glitch can be repaired by resetting the appropriate global variable and prevented by moving the disk farther from the ball.

The Madd Dogg glitch is when Madd Dogg immediately jumps to his death from the roof of the casino during the Madd Dogg mission in LV. This glitch is caused by using the pedestrian riot (PS2) or peds attack each other (PC) cheat code. This cheat (same cheat by different names) is the only cheat that will have unexpected lasting effects when saved. It will cause several ped types to hate everyone and is reported to make missions with Denise, Catalina and Cesar much more difficult, but it's usually Madd Dogg where everyone finally gets completely stuck.

Is this a bug? If yes, it is fixable?

-snip-

Turns out those static shadows aren't all that perfect as we thought they were:

(old video)

And yeah that happens to me as well :/.

EDIT: Shadow from under the car disappears when the player is not driving it, I posted this in another thread some time ago.

This also happened to me using mobile shadows on the same parking lot (just a heads up).

Only one little problem left for me - with SilentPatch car brake when gas button released. I mean not just loses speed until it stops, namely brake, like on hand brake.

So good to play damn old monumental GTA SA with magic patch ( and some other stuff ) ... I actually going to beat that game once again and Silent ... you make our lives better, unlike Rockstar, who released 1.01 patch only to bury Hot coffee and left tons of bugs in SA.

Actually that is good patch for 1080p monitors, but he don't compatible with most mods.

The benefits of high fps are things such as, overall game smoothness and less input and mouse delay, things you probably wouldn't notice untill you played at high fps for a while yourself and then went back to a lower fps.

I play sa-mp with a framerate between 150 and 300, it's very smooth and responsive, but there are gameplay side effects like very slow swimming speed and strange driving physics, still playable thanks to a few mods that fix strafing at this high framerate.

About completing the games at high framerates, I remember even GTA IV on PC had an issue with high fps on the last mission, when you are gonna get in the helicopter no matter how much you smash that key, if your fps is high, you won't get in. You need to set your fps to 30 or something.

As far as I know you can bring back all of its good features by SilentPatch and Widescreen Fix.

Pretty much. Wesser's and 13AG's WS fixes make the game handle 16:9 aspect ratios as good as modern games do.

Strange issues everywere ! Here is what I have with some parked cars with SilentPatch

1-spaces.ru.jpg

Even more strange at next screen, because there is same car in the background, but without issue

2-spaces.ru.jpg

I have some mods installed via modloader, may'be that is conflict with something

I'm not touching vehicles, doubt SilentPatch is an issue there.

Try disabling mods one by one. Or disable everything but SilentPatch, test, start enabling mods one by one and checking.

Could this be a handling.cfg issue? Try using default one.

I just finished testing and yes, this is a handling.cfg from Aztecas_5 fixed vehicles issue, but this didn't happens without SilentPatch, so this is a conflict to be honest.

EDIT: Aztecas_5 will try to fix that problem later, that is good.

I have the handling.cfg by Aztecas_5 and I don't have that problem, are you sure is the handling.cfg?

I may lost my mind, but now problem is gone, but there is no more parked Rancher's now ( at this car bug is most notable )

And I just install new timecyc and delete Hero postprocessing, I don't think that could solve the problem, may'be test that again later, just tired.

I'm using the latest version of Silent Patch for San Andreas, and I have to admit that Silent has done an excellent work. But I'm facing a bug with the double wheel vehicles(Yosemite and Tanker) in game:The invisible driver bug. I know that Silent Patch for SA is still beta, but I want to be sure if Silent will fix that bug in the future.

I think that there is fixed vehicles thread somewhere

http://gtaforums.com/topic/725635-wipsagta-san-andreas-fixed-vehicles/

Yes,I know about that thread, but it's not an unfixed vehicle issue. It's just a bug that you can't see the drivers who are driving Yosemites or Tankers, you can't even see CJ when driving these vehicles!!
