You can also get black destroyed cars if you have your FX quality set to Low.

Hm, so it's fine on 1.0 with Low settings? I'll look into it.

Also while you're at it you shoud include your Cop Biker overhaul which is definitely fix IMO

http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=15230

Which leads me to question - Silentpatch will override any other already existing fixes? Like cop bike overhaul and road reflections, just to mention yours

I assume it'll be the same as the III/VC versions.

I haven't added it as I wanted this plugin only to patch stuff, not add any new features. You can still use RefFix to force reflections to show all the time and plugins will not collide with each other. Same goes for increased probability of Rosie's line to play in VC (standalone fix increases it, this one keeps it at the original value).

Against this, you can get the cop bikers in TTDISA. Or at least make it an option, because it has a high possibility of crashing if you use mods or certain EXE versions, similar to the 12h clock. (both are also completely useless for multiplayer as they don't work)

Hmm. About the black car vs the shinier looking one. I got a feeling that may be a feature on higher settings. The shiny one does look a little nicer, where as the black one looks a little plain. But sense it is a blown up car, it isn't supposed to be shiny, but on SA, it looks like the vehicle's paint is still intact.

I have seen on TTDISA mod that Desert sheriff or Dsher is appears on the desert, replacing the countryside sheriff, I hope you add those sheriff to your patch

Silent, can you fix car dirt's byte amount in vehicle structure? (it should be 32, you know)

Since we're on the subject of SA, any chance you could fix the missing props in Los Venturas? Seems bare without them.

IIRC TTDISA restores them, but I'd rather have it in vanilla SA as well. The parachute animation, too.

It's so difficult to live with such mod requests. Vamos.

Anyways, it's difficult to say what SilentPatch for SA should be.

Just the ASI file, or dff/ipl/scm/whatever extention fixes as well?

It should be everything, a entire new game. From the exe to the ifp inside the img.

Parachute.dff from TTDISA. Replace in gta3.img or use with modloader.

Uh, I'm pretty sure the fix for the parachute is on ped.ifp, not on the .dff file.

I'm positive its the .dff file. Since the player animation is fine.

EDIT: Silent just confirmed its the .dff file.

Not wanting to derail the topic, but... Alt, can you share some "individual" fixes from TTDISA? Something pertinent, I mean, I don't want to download the whole TTIDSA because of the aditional missions, and I heard that the whole mod is pretty buggy too.

Inadequate

Everybody wants a GTA San Andreas PS2 version directly port to PC with this patch :p

I can't wait for all fixes are you implementing Silent! :catloaf:

unless someone comes with a fix for alpha bug, this mod is already the most expected of the year

Although @Wesser might probably storm in and prove me false, currently I think it might require rewriting a good portion of the game code. For example, I managed to make weapons render under car windows like on PS2 (function naming clearly shows the weapon rendering is different on PC), BUT the side effect is

Thanks dude. Is there anything else besides the map fixes that works on vanilla? I am currently using all SIlent's fixes, stuff from mobile version (mostly UI related) and now this.

And I am already using modloader for these. It's great.

What I'd really want now is cars getting dirty over time. I didn't even know SA had that feature before IV.

the behaviour of the gun flare is at least, strange

guess it have something to do about the surface to be reflected and the radius of the reflection

sometimes, it causes things like this (at 5:55, look at the buildings)

Never experienced that at all. Works flawlessly and is one of the things that should've been in the game in the first place.

Boy, after following VCS PC Edition, and this, I must say, SA on PC Is a pretty buggy game. At least it isn't as bad as some other PC games where the issues are immediately noticeable. To include...

-Saints Row 2: Many bugs. For one, the damn speed up bug. Another would be a rendering issue with small bodies of water that are far away. List goes on... The fixes don't do much. I'd rather just play this one on the Xbox 360.

-GTA IV: Basically needs a computer that is equivalent to a next gen console to run well. Some bugs on certain hardware. Now it isn't much of an issue but when it came out it was. I still can't max out this game. I max everything, except shadows are on high, and draw distance on 50. My computer is about as powerful as a PS4.

-Need For Speed Carbon: Lags a sh*t ton. Patch breaks the game.

The rest I haven't played on PC or at all, but I've heard are buggy.

-APB

-Battlefield 4

-Dark Souls 2

Anyways, I'm sure there are more out there. I bet consoles have their fair share of buggy games too. But I will say, SA on Android is a mess, containing more bugs than the PC version which are much more noticeable.

But just out of curiosity, are you going to put in the intro fix too?
