I fail to see the problem...? Lose their specular? conflicts with SA:Trafic? Nope.

Pay attention that the taxi is illuminated by the other taxi behind it,while no other cars are affected by such light sources,resulting in a quite more(overreactive though) distinctive "radiance".

Please think twice before posting something like this.

It's hard to tell i know, but take a look at the cars in the distance and the ones behind that taxi, they are obviously darker than the others. Just try using SA:Traffic and you will see what i mean.

Erm, that has always been an issue in SA, at least for me. Although, I'm pretty sure it only happened in the night for me, not during the day.

 

Silent's increase in lights and the increase in vehicles with SA:Trafic must cause the bug, so its probably a limit causing the issue. Some good ol' specular limit to start the day.

We'll do what we can to keep things compatible, but at this point in time, if any bugs start with "I have this mod installed and..." then it's not really Silent's problem, that's all I'm saying, as long as the default game state is running in tip top shape and exactly as it should be, then it's OK.

I changed nothing regarding specular too, only the directional light applied on vehicles.

Found a bug, if you change your camera mode to first person one in vehicle the lens flare effect from sun will be vanished.

 

Also, I don't know if this is bug or it was intended by R* but the 'lights' of the police siren seems to be invisible in day time. (It was different from previous/other GTA series)

See the line just below the corona, should be matching the horizon line, don't? Also, the corona itself shouldn't be visible underwater.

I may be wrong, but Z-write has been disabled for the sun, so now it must be rendered before the water blocks in order to solve the issue and after the sky polys. R* had more than a reason to leave it enabled.

That's just the stupid particle drawing, same sh*t happens for almost all coronas. Somebody needs to fix that...Wouldn't it be possible to draw all coronas on top of everything as long as the corona position is in clear sight?

Any chance to make phased moon compatible with proportionalcoronas plugin? Or even a fix in the patch itself for coronas

I'm pretty sure everyone here uses any of the Widescreen fixes and they all include their own version of proportional coronas anyway.

Now I know there are widescreen fixes around, but

I wrote that.. and it was referred to the vanilla game w/o WS patches (which otherwise fix all the issues). What's the matter?

 

And I'd like to invite wesser, 13AG or somebody else with the required knowledge to check if the claim is wrong or misspelled

You should also add the cheat to drive on water which was absent on pc version

Sun lensflare effect flickering from the "front-bumper" camera view in vehicles.

 

I think this happens because the game checks if there is any object between the camera and sun, and in this view the vehicle is always between the sun and camera, because the camera point is inside the vehicle boundaries. And this makes the sun flare flickering. Is it possible to make the player vehicle to exclude from this obstacle check?

Should be possible I think. It also applies to all effects like smoke if you burn the tires. This issue got reported years ago with a few modders saying "yea, I'll fix that" but it ended as soon as they started. Probably a tough one.

I'm pretty sure Render has this, or is going to have it. I remember discussing it with _DK a long time ago.

Silent, I have an issue, this has happened to me several times. I removed some cleo mods, radar texture and iOS hud icons (every mod I load them with modloader) and now the aircraft and parked cars doesn't spawns anymore, this 'bug' affects all car/aircraft spawn points on the map (on my game). I removed every mod, tested and reinstalled again and nothing works. This has happened to me several times and I don't know if have a fix or something, if is possible. Some strange this thing. I don't know if more people have this issue or has happened this other times. Thanks in advance.
