Why would you need to change mask texture?

More customization is always welcome, sure 64x64 looks alright, but it wouldn't hurt to allow users to change it as they see fit. If it's not too much trouble to create an .ini option for it i don't see why not have it, but yeah that's up to you to decide not me.

aww that's a shame, the NVC shader was one of the coolest features of the 'Patch. :)

Hey Silent i just wanted to say thank you for these great patches but i have a really annoying issue with it

 

For some reason the SA patch does not work well together with the newest ENB Series or rather the car reflections in it: The weapons are rendered in the same color as the sky (example below).

Since you mention some weapon lightning fixes in your patch i wonder if these can be fixed somehow or at least you could add an .ini option to turn them off.

It would be a shame to have to remove some of these mods completely just because of these "small" issue.

PS2 reflections are not and will not be included in the mod.

I altered the weapon rendering code in the upcoming release, we'll see if this issue will still be present - if so, I'll make it a toggle.

The bug you mentioned happens even without SilentPatch, all weapons will be bright in foggy/sandstorm weathers.

Dude, your answer is three posts up.

I'm afraid it's the only feature we probably won't get from PS2 imo

If there is a choice, I'do stick towards a PS2 "timecyc" or "filter" or whatever you want to call it, over car reflections.

 

But back to reality, few pages back I suggested a shader thing to improve sky color blending making them more smooth. Should be possible, don't?

OK, f*ck this. With a 6GB transfer I can waste some and upload a new, probably the last test version of the patch.

 

 

 

This release supports 1.01 and Steam version and also adds following NEW fixes:

 

 

* Impound garages now function correctly, allowing the player to recover his last vehicle after it had vanished after a mission start

* In addition, impound garages will now store player's car when he's busted

* Streamed entity list has been expanded a bit, so now the game world shouldn't flash when looking down with high Draw Distance settings anymore

* Mouse rotates an airbone car only with Steer with Mouse option enabled

* Towtruck tow hitch does not get bugged after it has been fixed anymore

* Plane doors don't corrupt after the plane has been fixed anymore

* Fixing a plane will now reset its moving props to an undamaged state

* Several vehicle components (most notably, Rumpo's front bumper and Bandito's moving prop) will not get glitched after the vehicle has been fixed anymore

* Weapons and a jetpack now cast proper shadows

* Crosshair doesn't mess up weapon icon when on a jetpack anymore

* Free resprays will not carry on a New Game now

* Fixed a 1.01 only tiny memory leak which occured every time the player switched a radio station

* Steam version has proper aspect ratios now

* IMG size checks have been removed from the Steam version

* Steam version of the game will not reject 1.0/1.01 saves anymore (still, a compatible SCM is needed for the save to work)

 

 

 

Full changelog is included in mod's ReadMe.

 

 

I wrote this on my PC. Now I do Ctrl + C, then Ctrl + V aaaaand... it appears on my phone :pp God I totally forgot about this.

Turns out it's not too reliable for long texts. Fixed.

^ Did you ever end up fixing this Silent. Sorry for being annoying but I wrote this pages back and there was no response about it being a bug or anything fixable... so yeah. The PS2 version has prostitute noises and/or dialogue between CJ and her during the encounter while the PC version plays nothing(other than the sound of the car bumping up and down and possible radio music).

Yet another bug I've experienced. CJ's girlfriend, Michelle, when she decides to drive the car on the date and you sit as the passenger - radio stations can't be changed despite the game notifying you that you can (a black message prompt appears on screen at the time).


ALSO, these patch 1.01 fixes - were they integrated into your patch:

Issue fixed on machines where the OS has been updated and has 2 registry keys that point to the users "My Documents" folder (assuming the Win2000 folder instead of the last installed OS folder).
Crash when entering advanced display options with 32 meg of video ram.
Crash when entering advanced display options on a dual monitor machine.
Issue on all machines where certain collisions caused parts of the audio system to crash.
Improvements to DVD streaming.
Audio problems in interior/exterior transitions and getting in/out of cars fixed.
Some fixes to ensure reverb is not present at certain save points.
Improvements to dance game timings.

Crash occurring when using "user radio files" while the frame limiter is disabled.

Amaizing update! Tested and working. However, when attempting to get back our vehicle, we get a three star wanted level. Is it supposed to be like that? Also the Car Impund icon is not shown on the mini map.

Why some areas takes so long for their textures to render? SF is a good example, if you're flying through the city, some areas don't render at all.

Well, there are appearently several scripts, hardcoded stuff and icons in the game which aren't used. I'm just hoping there is some more stuff for the car impound feature. On the other hand, it makes sense that the cops don't want to gimme back my car. q:

Just noticed "Sunnyside" was exist on the game, especially in TTDISA , "Sunnyside" was placed in SF beach area, Will Silent add the "Sunnyside" into his patch?

IMFX is working fine with SilentPatch here.
