Hate to interrupt you search for Silent guys, but anyone knows how to fix this weird bug? For some reason all my headlights make the weird square effect when looking at them directly. There is nothing like that in III/SA

Pretty sure Silent Patch doesn't cause that. Just looks like a bad texture for headlights in particle.txd, heck it might even be the original.

Well SP fixed headlight coronas by using the Steam fix in III so I thought it fixed it VC as well, but it seems there's nothing about it in OP oops.

Ah I had modified particle.txd from the 10th anniversary mod, but even the default one does this. This is dumb when GTAIII's look fine.

Naa, the headlight fix that Silent done for III was literally enabling the headlights since they were broken in the PC version.

 

You could always edit the texture in particle.txd or use one from Vice Cry or something, lot's of nice choices out there.

So is the texture named pointlight in particle.txd? Because III has identical one and yet this ugly thing is nowhere to be seen

The texture is "coronaheadlightline", pretty sure its the same name for III, VC and SA.

I just figured it out. It's ThirteenAG's WS fix. Damn that is the last thing I'd expect to alter thing like that
